    1928 FORD MODEL A SNOWMOBILE

    Washington State

Talk about RARE!! This is by far the most intriguing classic I have ever had the pleasure of buying. What make this one so special is I know the complete history down to the day it was Purchased by a Mica mining company in Quebec, Canada for the purpose of transporting workers to and from the mine. That was her job for about 7 years before the family I purchased her from bought her and used her in the harsh winters in Quebec for around 10 years. She then sat in a barn for 50 years before the son's decided to ship her to Washington and get her back on the snow. The barn was about to collapse so it was time. They got her started in one hour after working on her and she had not been started in 50 years. Is technology better now? Let's see a Lexus do that after 50 years....Nope.

There were 3 models, the Snow Flyer, Snowbird and the Snowmobile made by the Snowmobile

Company. These were mostly meant for doctors, miners, isolated deliveries and mailmen to get through the deep snow....THIS ONE HAS BEEN USED MANY TIMES IN THE LAST TEN YEARS IN THE EASTERN WASHINGTON WINTERS! SHE WORKS!!

As you can she has been repainted and word is she she was grayish black color. She has been restored as a driver and not the 66k version that went over the Barrett Jackson block in Scottsdale in 2012 BUT she is well on her way and my reserve would warrant taking her to the next level and a lot the hard stuff has been done.

She is rock solid!! No serious rust issues at all and runs and drives. She does have the track key and a machined piece to remake a portion of the track if one were to be damaged.

The original gauge cluster was stolen in the 50's and was replaced with a 1928 Model A cluster. Exact Mileage unknown but believed to be around 5k-10k.

    SHE HAS A TITLE!

YOU CAN TAKE THE TRACKS OFF AND ADD FRONT TIRES FOR EASY TRANSPORT!

I HAVE A LOT OF LITERATURE ON THE VARIOUS MODELS INCLUDING THE PARTS LIST.

THE NEW OWNER WILL GET THE FAMILY'S INFO SO YOU CAN GET ALL THE INFORMATION YOU NEED!

    KEEPER TIME!
