    • Description

     This 1968 Oldsmobile Toronado Is a clean original that was lightly restored to make it virtually showroom fresh. An original black plate California car, it obviously was cherished by the previous owners, and now is your opportunity to do the same.

     The paint is a high quality respray in a slightly darker shade of gold than the original (which can be seen in the door jambs and underside of the trunk) I would agree that it looks better in the more brownish shade of gold, but for authenticity it would be nice if it was the original lighter shade. The vinyl top was apparently replaced as well, and looks fantastic, as does all of the chrome trim.

    Inside, the upholstery and carpets appear original and are in good shape. The drivers seat slopes a bit toward the door from decades of entry and exit, and the floor mat has a slight tear where the accelerator pedal comes through. All controls work well, with the exception of the aftermarket stereo. Even the AC blows cold!

     Mechanically, it fires right up and idles nicely. Under the hood you can see the attention to detail and it is reflected in the way this car runs and drives. Beautifully!

     A great example of a milestone car. Good ones are hard to find, and while not a 100 point showcar, this car is a real looker that is ready to be driven and enjoyed immediately.

Out of state buyers will receive a California title in their name within two to three weeks after full payment is received.
