Please note that experience shows us that the photobucket of over 100 large pixel pictures posted here are in most cases best viewed and downloaded using the very latest and most updated version of the 'Firefox' browser as some other browsers and especially older browser versions are not capable of accommodating the size of the download. Over the years our clients have overwhelmingly been appreciative of our many unaltered large pixel photos posted in our ads and our feedback has been that it is very rare that a seller will post all but the most flattering of photographs. We prefer to expose the complete roll of film taken of the car, in sometimes unflattering but natural sunlight, in order for our prospective buyers to be able to see true and reliable images of the car advertised and that is the reason for some seemingly duplicated shots. We trust you will agree.

West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional example with an extremely desirable and classic color combination of an increasingly collectible British classic car - a 1994 Jaguar XJS 4.0L 6 cylinder 2+2 roadster with only 63,800 original miles!

Gorgeous and very rare and desirable color combination of original factory 'Brooklands Green’ (Code HFB) color paint (named after the legendary dark green international racing color of the United Kingdom, aka British Racing Green, and originally made famous by Bentley's hugely successful dark green cars raced at the Le Mans 24hr in the 1920's and later by such legendary British marques like Aston Martin, Cooper and Lotus in Formula One in the 1950's and 60's and obviously with a nod here by Jaguar to the renown 'Brooklands' racetrack in England, which famously played host to the world's first 24 hour motor event in 1907 but which sadly closed to never reopen when WWII broke out in 1939!) The car has its very striking original Jaguar chrome wheels, a beautiful condition Tan color factory canvas power soft top which compliments its original and still quite stunning doeskin 'Barley’ color (Code AFW) leather interior and matching tonneau cover! This particular car must be seen to be truly appreciated! A real head-turner!

Obviously always garaged with absolutely no signs or history of any accident damage whatsoever with all original parts - obviously never abused, babied all the way! The original factory 'Brooklands Green' color paint is in beautiful condition and it is probably one of the most desirable and striking colors that these cars were ever built in. The original ‘Barley’ color leather seats are also in outstanding condition with virtually no signs of any wear and there are no noticeable imperfections in the dashboard or the walnut veneer, the door panels or the carpets. The interior matching color soft top is also in exceptional condition. The interior is also completely original with it's 'Jaguar' radio/cassette/CD Shuttle system and all the options and gauges are working.

The engine is extremely strong and smooth running with excellent oil pressure and which does not burn or leak oil. The temperature always remains cool and the car drives exactly like a virtually still new Jaguar with such low miles should - no shakes or rattles - very smooth and powerful - must drive the same as when it left the showroom floor over 16 years ago!

Please note the CARFAX report shows as of 11/1/1994 (less than 3 months after being first sold on 8/8/1994!) a mileage reading of 14,284 miles, which is incorrect and an obvious clerical error which should have read 4,284 miles, but nevertheless the report shows a "potentially mileage inconsistency" regardless of the fact that the mileage has been consistent throughout all the years since 11/1994 to the present day!

This must be one of the finest examples available anywhere of this classic and increasingly desirable and collectible penultimate year for the Jaguar XJS convertibles - therefore proving a very collectible investment in probably the last classically beautiful design built by Jaguar in their long and famous history of classic lines - a sure-fire classic car investment for the Jaguar enthusiast or simply 'pride of place' in any astute classic car collector's collection!

You will certainly look long and hard to find a finer example of this obviously always garaged and accident free Jaguar XJS convertible in this most striking of color combinations available anywhere else.
