This auction is for a 1969 Mercedes 280 SE Sedan. The Mercedes runs, drives, and stops good but needs body work. The original 280 engine was replaced in 2002 with a 1971 Mercedes 280 engine (I have receipts for parts and labor for the work). The car is great around town and also cruises comfortably down the highway at 65 MPH. It runs and it starts every time. Passed New York State Inspection in August 2013. The car needs paint and body work.  It has rust around the headlight housings, doors, and rocker panels. The original MB Tex seats and interior wood trim are in very good condition. The car also has factory AC (needs recharge). The original radio also works well and the car comes with the factory MB jack. All gauges work. Chrome grill and bumpers are nice.
