This is a Rust Free Texas Survivor 1981 Jeep CJ-7.

This 1981 Jeep Cj-7 Renegade is as orginal as I could keep it. Upon pruchase the previous owner had done a couple mods to make this jeep right. Upgraded power boost brakes makes driving this jeep a charm. The valve cover has been replaced from the old prone to crack plastic one to a nice strudy aluminum valve cover. The paint and renegade package decals are orginal, the paint is great shape, the decals are cracking as seen in the pictures. There is small dent in the rear drivers side corner as seen in the pics as well as a small one in the top of the tail gate. The center console lock is missing, as well as one button on the drivers side rear section of the soft top. There is a oil leak coming from the rear main seal,The T176 Transmission and Dana 300 Transfer case are leak free

This jeep is fun to drive! With 45 K orginal miles! The steering is tight, the brakes work great, the transmission is smooth, there is no whines from the drivetrain. I drove this jeep 65 miles per hour down the highway with one hand on the steering wheel!. Something common when finding a jeep cj-7 is the wiring. Its usually a nest, all the wiring is orginal and all the guages work!! The drivers side seat has some wear, but remains orginal oem blue denim. The drivers seat and rear seat are in great shape! I chose not replace the seats or recover them to keep the jeep it as orginal as I could. I did put a oem replacement am fm cassete radio in the oem spot. This 81 TEXAS SURVIVOR would make a awesome foundation for a full restore or just a great driver as is! The tires are BFG Mud Terrains, but judging from the under carriage this jeep does not appear to be taken off the road its entire life, besides the occasinal back road to the lake!
