So, how about a little info on the car? Although the previous Cayenne was a smashing success, Porsche did take note on a couple key criticisms of the previous model. For example, the new Cayenne is about 400 lbs lighter than the outgoing model. For added fuel economy, the Cayenne gets a 8 speed tiptronic S transmission where you'll reach top speed in 6th gear and 7th and 8th gears are there for added fuel economy. Traction control has been updated as well, so grip is improved! What about that svelte body, which is actually bigger than the previous model. 86 lbs were shaved off the body simply by redesigning the doors. You'd think that with a lighter body that the structural integrity would be comprimised! No, this is a Porsche and the overall rigidity and stiffness of the body was increased by nearly 15 percent.
