The Chevrolet Corvette or C3 is a sports car produced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors for the 1968 through 1982 model years. Engines and chassis components were mostly carried over from the previous generation, but the body and interior were new. It set new sales records with 53,807 produced for the 1979 model year.

MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present the gorgeous 1980 Chevrolet Corvette C3 you see pictured. This Corvette is a prime example of a very well maintained C3. This particular C3 is an L48 car and was built right here in St. Louis!

Finished in the original Frost Beige, the paint looks great, showing only minor imperfections. The body is in great shape and the paint hugs all the right curves the Corvette is known for. This is a t-top car and the glass is in great condition. The weather stripping is in excellent shape for that extra piece of mind. Overall, this is a beautiful Corvette and shows exceptionally well!

Inside, you’ll find that the bucket seats are wrapped in the original Doeskin Leather and look great! The carpet, door panels and center console are all in great condition as well. This C3 is full of all sorts of options inside, such as a tilt/telescopic steering wheel, cruise control, defroster, intermittent wipers, an alarm system, AC and an aftermarket stereo. This is a comfortable car and it is very airy feeling with the glass t-tops!

Under the hood, you’ll find the L48 350 cubic inch engine. The L48 is a cast iron V8, 5.7 liter with 4.00” bore and a 3.48” stroke and equipped with a Rochester Quadrajet. Attached to the 350 is a Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed automatic transmission. The Corvette sits upon a set of 15” Chevrolet Motors wheels wrapped in P225/70R15 tires.

This is a gorgeous 1980 Corvette C3 and could fit into any Corvette connoisseur’s heart or any car collection! This C3 also comes with the original 1980 Owner’s Manual and a stack of receipts. The VIN is 1Z878AS419343 and the mileage currently shows 66,876, which is believed to be original. The car is titled on a clean and clear Missouri title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!

This agreement to arbitrate shall survive the sale of the automobile described herein. Buyer and Seller hereby agree that Missouri law shall control for all purposes under this Bill of Sale. Buyer and Seller hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Missouri to specifically enforce the agreement to arbitrate and to enter judgment of and enforce the award of the arbitrator. All above terms and conditions are applied to vehicle sales, whether through Ebay or otherwise. Sorry, but in all fairness to the bidding process, I will NOT disclose my reserve price until the auction has ended.

Payment Terms
Payment must be made by Cashiers Check, Money Orders or Wire Transfers payable in US Dollars. A Refundable deposit in the amount of $500.00 must be received within Twenty-Four(24)hours of the auctions close either by Master Card, Visa or PayPal. The buyer has seven(7) days from close of auction to inspect the vehicle. If the vehicle is not to your liking within this seven day inspection period then your deposit will be refunded 100%. If an inspection or decision takes longer then seven days and you find the vehicle not to your liking, your deposit will be forfeited and the car will be relisted. Final payment must be received within ten (10) days of the auction close. The refundable deposit only applies if you or an agent inspect said vehicle in St. Louis and find it not to your liking. I will not be responsible for buyers remorse or problems found to said vehicle once they have left my property. I am just being realistic, most of the cars I deal in are vintage and by their very nature will need TLC and some degree of attention sooner or later. These are not new cars and should not be treated as such. Once full payment has been received, Seller will fax a copy of clear title, Bill of sale, Buyers guide and additional DMV forms to the Buyer to sign and return via fax. The forms must be returned to the Seller prior to the shipment of said vehicle. Original paperwork will be sent to Buyer Via overnight mail seven(7)days from date of final payment. Transportation will commence only after final payment and signed documentation are received. Once a car is picked up from our premises, you will NOT be able to return the car.
