The 1960 model year was an impressive beginning to a new decade. During the Sixties, Cadillac styling became more graceful and restrained as Bill Mitchell gradually unified the design. Few new engineering advances were introduced, but orderly design development and a conservative styling approach set Cadillac apart from other luxury makes and maintained its reputation as "The Standard of the World." To the American public, Cadillac remained a symbol of prestige, success, and good taste.

The 1960 Cadillac began the evolutionary process of toning down the excesses of 1959. Although it continued the jet plane styling theme of the '59, its fins were clipped (but still prominent) and Ed Taylor redesigned the taillights into a thin strip of red plastic neatly blended into the end of the fin. Supplementing that was a second taillight in each "exhaust port," now a vertical oval that still housed the backup light as well. The simplified grille lost its horizontal divider bar and the front bumper was also simpler and less bulky. New, too, was the instrument panel. All in all, the '60 Caddy had a more formal, yet youthful, look.

MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present yet another beautiful, classic Cadillac, complete with fins! This true California Cadillac has benefitted from an older, frame off restoration and looks awesome! It has resided in El Macero, California with the same owner for 22 years.

Finished in the correct, original color of Persian Sand, the paint looks great and only shows very minor imperfections. The body is solid and all the lines that the early 60’s Cadillacs are famous for are much defined. The top is finished in Olympic White and compliments the Persian Sand paint perfectly. The chrome appears to have been re-chromed and looks great with no pitting and only minor imperfections.

Inside, you will find that the correct Plum interior is in excellent condition showing no wear or imperfections. The seats are wrapped in a vinyl and cloth combination and look great. The driver’s seat is actually a functioning power seat. The door panels, carpet and headliner are also in excellent condition. The dashboard is beautiful, complete with all the original gauges. The car also came equipped with an AM/FM radio with a power antenna.

Under the hood, you’ll find an exceptionally clean 390 cubic inch V8 engine, capable of 325 horsepower. Attached to the engine is an automatic transmission. The car came equipped with power steering and power brakes. There are drum brakes all the way around. The Cadillac sits upon a set of original Cadillac chrome wheels.

This agreement to arbitrate shall survive the sale of the automobile described herein. Buyer and Seller hereby agree that Missouri law shall control for all purposes under this Bill of Sale. Buyer and Seller hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Missouri to specifically enforce the agreement to arbitrate and to enter judgment of and enforce the award of the arbitrator. All above terms and conditions are applied to vehicle sales, whether through Ebay or otherwise. Sorry, but in all fairness to the bidding process, I will NOT disclose my reserve price until the auction has ended.

Payment Terms
Payment must be made by Cashiers Check, Money Orders or Wire Transfers payable in US Dollars. A Refundable deposit in the amount of $500.00 must be received within Twenty-Four(24)hours of the auctions close either by Master Card, Visa or PayPal. The buyer has seven(7) days from close of auction to inspect the vehicle. If the vehicle is not to your liking within this seven day inspection period then your deposit will be refunded 100%. If an inspection or decision takes longer then seven days and you find the vehicle not to your liking, your deposit will be forfeited and the car will be relisted. Final payment must be received within ten (10) days of the auction close. The refundable deposit only applies if you or an agent inspect said vehicle in St. Louis and find it not to your liking. I will not be responsible for buyers remorse or problems found to said vehicle once they have left my property. I am just being realistic, most of the cars I deal in are vintage and by their very nature will need TLC and some degree of attention sooner or later. These are not new cars and should not be treated as such. Once full payment has been received, Seller will fax a copy of clear title, Bill of sale, Buyers guide and additional DMV forms to the Buyer to sign and return via fax. The forms must be returned to the Seller prior to the shipment of said vehicle. Original paperwork will be sent to Buyer Via overnight mail seven(7)days from date of final payment. Transportation will commence only after final payment and signed documentation are received. Once a car is picked up from our premises, you will NOT be able to return the car.

Overseas shipments will be placed into a steel container for safe sea passage. We take care of all the details and paperwork. All you have to do is collect the car at port and enjoy!
