Up for auction is an all original 1984 Ford LTD Crown Victoria with just 39K original miles. This time capsule is completely original and is in excellent condition. I recently purchased it out of North Carolina and it original came from Virginia. Harry Pritchett bought this car on 11/06/1983 for a total cost of $15,666.00. Barkhouser Motors INC of Danville, VA sold the car new. I have the original window sticker, protecto plate, and owners manuals. This car appears to retain the original finish which is a midnight blue metallic.
This Crown was ordered pretty healthily with the following options: PW, PL, Tilt, Cruise, Brogham Roof, Illuminated Entry, Automatic delayed lights, Cornering Lamps, Power Seat, Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel, Bumper Rub Strips, AC, AM/FM, Luxury Interior Group, Remote Mirror, Pivoting Vent Window, Aluminum Turbine Wheels, Power Antenna, Rocker Moldings, Premium Radio, Tinted Windshield, Convenience Group complete the long list of options this car has. The options totaled up to be more than half of what the car cost!!!!
The interior is imepecable and looks like new. The only flaw I see is the center dash speaker grill has a few cracks, other wise the interior is a 9/10. The rear seat looks like it was never used.
This car runs and drives exactly like you would expect it to, and it performs like a low mileage car should. There are a couple minor chips here and there and also what appears to be some sap stains in the paint which is hard to see and impossible to photograph. Otherwise its a rust free original panel body hat is very straight and has never been tampered with.
The strong running fuel injected 5.0L engine runs very well and has excellent power. The air is also ice cold and functions properly. Tires are OK and are correct for the year. All the power accessories work like they should. This Crown is in excellent condition and is totally rust free on top or underneath. Please bid responsibly and good luck!
