At Auction Close

Successful "winning" bidder must telephone 972-888-5850 within 3 hours after the auction has ended to verify purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction.  Additionally, the “winning” bidder must place a deposit for the vehicle within 24 hours of the auctions close.  Deposit amounts will vary based on the purchase price of the vehicle.  ($25K and under: $500, $26k-50K: $1,000, $51k-100K: $1,500, $101k-$200k: $2,000, and $201k and over: $3,500)  Failure to comply with the deposit requirements will result in the re-listing of the vehicle, and a legal attempt to recover the eBay Fee’s incurred by Southlake Motorcars may be made against the “winning” bidder.

Within (3) business days of the end of auction, full payment must be received either by cashiers-check, certified funds, or wire transfer. If funds are not received, and an alternate arrangement has not been made, the vehicle can and will be made available to other potential buyers on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Financing 

For help in arranging financing or for any questions regarding financing options, please contact us prior to bidding. Not being able to arrange financing does not constitute a valid reason for deposit refund.

Vehicle Titles

Southlake Motorcars strives to process your title as soon as possible after your payment is received in full.  However, Texas is a title holding state and it is possible that title processing could take up to 21 days. 

Disclosure & Inspection

We have disclosed as much information as possible about this vehicle and aim to only carry quality pre-owned merchandise. Southlake Motorcars highly recommends that all vehicles be inspected BEFORE leaving our facility.  All costs related to an “inspection” are the sole responsibility of the buyer.  

Odometer

Due to demo test-drives, inspections, and maintenance the mileage of the vehicle being described might be minimally different than the mileage stated when the vehicle was first listed on eBay.

Shipping - Transport of Vehicle

Buyers are responsible for all shipping costs.  Southlake Motorcars values your business! We want you to be completely satisfied with your online automotive experience from purchase to delivery. Please understand that Southlake Motorcars will arrange shipping for you as a value added service only. We are NOT the shipping company, and will not be responsible for any damages arising from the transport of your vehicle.  All shipping questions and/or concerns should be addressed directly with the shipping company used to transport said vehicle.

Should you be unsatisfied with your shipping service, please let us know! We aim to recommend only quality vendors.

Bidding 

Your bid constitutes a legally binding contract to purchase this vehicle. Please do not bid if you're not seriously interested or financially able to purchase this vehicle. Please read eBay's "User Agreement".  You must be 18 years of age to place a bid. Southlake Motorcars reserves the right to obtain and verify the registered information of all users who bid on this auction, cancel any and all bids at our discretion, or end the auction early for any reason.

Bid Retraction 

Please read eBay's "Retracting a Bid". If you place a bid before the last 12-hour period of the auction, you may retract the bid before the last 12-hour period only for exceptional circumstances. You will not be allowed to retract that bid during the last 12-hour period of the auction. If you place a bid during the last 12-hour period of the auction, you will be allowed to retract the bid for exceptional circumstances only if you do so within one hour after placing the bid.

Payments, Taxes & Fee’s

Southlake Motorcars accepts cashiers’ checks, certified funds, or wire transfers ONLY.  We will not release a vehicle to any client until we have properly verified that “good funds” have been received. 

All buyers, either through eBay or walk-in, will pay a $175.00 administrative fee, VIT (Vehicle Inventory Tax) equal to .002277 of the sale amount, plus a $50.00 documentary fee. Texas buyers must pay 6.25% sales tax plus applicable Texas fees. Out-of-state buyers are responsible to know the registration requirements and tax implications for their own state.  Should you have trouble locating such information, Southlake Motorcars may assist you in obtaining the proper contact information.

Completing Your Transaction

Before the vehicle is released for shipment to the "Buyer", all sale-related and title-related paperwork must be signed and returned completed to the "Seller".
