Please note that experience shows us that the photobucket of over 100 large pixel pictures posted here are in most cases best viewed and downloaded using the very latest and most updated version of the 'Firefox' browser as some other browsers and especially older browser versions are not capable of accommodating the size of the download. Over the years our clients have overwhelmingly been appreciative of our many unaltered large pixel photos posted in our ads and our feedback has been that it is very rare that a dealer will post all but the most flattering of professionally finished photographs. We prefer to post the many photos taken of the car, in sometimes unflattering but natural sunlight, in order for our prospective buyers to be able to see true and reliable images of the car advertised and that is the reason for some seemingly duplicated shots. We trust you will agree.

West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and rust free example of this rare 4 speed manual 1969 Jaguar XKE E-Type Series II 2+2 coupe with it's original matching number 6 cylinder 4.2L/246HP engine! The car is a beautiful older restoration with new chrome, new seals and gaskets, new carpeting and headliner, repainted in its original and rare (1969-74 only) factory 'Regency Red' color with a gorgeous Black leather interior and all five original Jaguar chrome wire wheels!

The car was always garaged by its previous long time owner who purchased the car many years ago from its original owner. The floor boards, trunk areas and all the typical rust-prone areas are completely solid and rust-free! The car has no signs of any accidents of any kind and has a very straight body. It's 'Regency Red' color paint is in exceptionally fine condition and the car looks extremely impressive and striking with a lovely Black leather interior with the seats, door panels, headliner, dashboard and carpets all in very fine condition with no noticeable flaws. The car has it's original spare wire wheel located in the trunk.

The car has been recently thoroughly mechanically overhauled with a new master cylinder installed with all new brake hoses, 4 new 'Michelin' red-line tires, new clutch with clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder and slave cylinder pressure hoses and clamps, replaced all coolant hoses, new battery, carburetors removed, tuned and rebuilt.

The original matching #'s 4.2L 6 cylinder engine purrs smoothly under the hood and the manual transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears - an absolute pleasure to drive without any of the older Jaguar typical shakes or rattles or hesitations - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern day sports car a run for its money!

The Series II XKE E-Type Jaguar was only built between the years 1969-71 and there were only 5,326 Longer Wheel Base 2+2 coupes built with most of these models sporting an automatic transmission and only very few able to boast a sporty and now highly desirable and collectible 4 speed manual stick shift transmission like this particular model.

This is therefore an extremely rare opportunity to own a great daily driving and restored and always rust free example of a stunning 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II 4.2L 2+2 4 speed manual coupe in exceptionally fine condition throughout being offered as a great daily driver or collectible for any English classic car lover or Jaguar enthusiast!
