Thanks for looking at this sharp 2014 Ford Focus SE Edition!! My name is T.J., I'm a third generation owner of a dealership located in Michigan just south of Detroit. I purchased this Focus from an insurance company in Pennsylvania titled as salvage flood. There was absolutely no damage to the engine or transmission!! The only problem was the carpet was slightly wet underneath the padding. I replaced the carpet with brand new carpet from the dealer, as it was only $160.00!! I purchased it running and driving through the auction, and didn't have to do anything to the motor, transmission, or any electrical component. While I had the carpet out, I inspected all the computers and I found ZERO signs of water damage. There was no water line in the interior anywhere. This car will be very dependable and safe for many years to come, don't miss this chance to save on a virtually new car!
This 2014 Focus definitely should not have been branded with a salvage title, however insurance companies want to make sure you know the history and make sure they are free of liabilities. This Focus was not driving through water, the most likely cause would be it was in a parking lot. When this happens generally the insurance companies will pay claims on every car in that lot.
I had this vehicle inspected by the State of Michigan for a Rebuilt Title. It passed the inspection with ease and now can be registered and driven anywhere in the world! The State of NY requires an extra inpection on rebuilt titles so please check with your DMV. This 2013 Ford Focus is now ready for the road, it will be very reliable and safe for many years to come!
