How it works:

It was the sort of technical wonder Americans expected as the "space age" beckoned in the 5)’s.  At the touch of a button three roof drive motors drive four lift jacks, four door-lock motors, ten solenoids, four locking mechanisms folds the front of the roof under the  and retracts it under the rear decklid  and closes out of sight. It’s a complex mechanism which has wonderful reliability.  It is a surefire to always amaze and please the crowd.

Fuel consumption about town is about 16 to 18 mpg. The fuel tank is actually under the rear seat and to safety in the event of a rear collision.

Seasoned observers will have to look closely for flaws, but will be able to find some not seen by the general public. The paint, chrome, glass and interior will all appear as excellent. No excessive smoke will be seen on startup, no unusual noises will emanate from the engine compartment. The vehicle will drive as a new car of its era would. The one word description for #2 cars is "excellent."
