1989 Mercedes Benz 560SL

113,104 Miles

Signal red with a gorgeous Tan Leather interior.  Car runs and drives beautifully.

Ice cold AC (upgraded in 2006 - $7300 in receipts included).

Upgraded Alpine CD stereo (removable face plate) with Alpine speakers and a trunk-mounted CD changer.

All power options functioning 100%.  No dummy dash lights on (see picture).

The signal red exterior paint has excellent shine (with some surface scuffing on close examination) and is well complimented by bright and clear chrome trim – including chrome fender lips - all around.  This car was regularly detailed while in my possession.

Interior is in excellent condition with NO dash cracks.  Soft and supple tan leather (showing some wear but no holes or tears) and deep burl wood accents with a mirror like shine.

Beautiful upgraded OEM wheels (much better looking than the standard pie plates) are in excellent condition all around and matching Michelin tires have greater than 60% tread remaining.

I have NEVER used the hardtop (it was on it when I bought it).   I took it off and it has stayed, covered, on the MB rolling rack (pictured) in my garage since I bought it.   I believe the soft-top is original and as you can see is in excellent condition.

Since I purchased the car in 2006 with 103,000 miles, it has ALWAYS been garage kept, covered, for occasional weekend use only.  NEVER driven in the rain or even when rain threatened.  Never on wet roads. Never in the winter.  Only spring-summer-fall use.   I babied this vehicle.  Note in 6 1/2 years of ownership I’ve driven it less than ~1600 miles a year, on average.   This car saw regular oil changes based on mileage.  Car will come with a fresh oil & filter change.

Everywhere I go I get thumbs up.  It is a head-turner.  Best looking combo of exterior / interior (that’s why it’s featured on the booklet!) and the chrome accents push it over the top.

This is an exceptionally well-maintained example of the last year of the legendary W107 model.

Both (2) original keys, books, 2 levers for locking top, the hardtop, hardtop rack, and some service records convey.
