I bought this Corvette from Heartland Chevrolet in Kansas City through a dealer auction last spring. It was one of their local trade-ins. They anounced at the auction that they belived the miles to be correct but due to the age they marked the milage exempt. Even though every car over 10 years old in the U.S. is exempt from federal milage requirements I can put in the current milage at the time of sale.  When looking at this car to purchase I could tell that the paint and interior were very nice and original. After driving it I was very surprised to find that the car also drove like NEW!  It's very tight with no rattles or looseness.  Everything works like new including the AC (except the electric antenae). Even the Targa top has none of the common crazing that I always find. The top looks like new! As you can see under the hood there isn't even rust on any of the exposed bolts and nuts. The rubber parts don't have the typical cracking from sun exposure.  I have had a lot of Corvettes this style with 80K miles and higher but none have even come close to the quality of this one.  With my 40 plus years experience in the car business I feel sure that the odometer reading is correct.  The interior even smells like fresh newer leather. The glass has been tinted darker and it is in good shape.  A previous owner added the hand painted pin striping.  There are some light gravel chips on the hood that don't show in pictures and the rear bumper has some thin spots and some micro checking on top.  There are a couple of spots in the clear coat on the drivers quarter panel behind the door handle. I'm taking lots of pictures so you can see what you are buying.                                         

  Conclusion:  This car has been extremely well kept in a garage and could be a great investment as well as a great hobby.  Where could you find another well preserved Vette in this conditon for this price?  I will give the buyer the right to inspect the car before paying for it.  If you feel I have misrepresented it you can have a full refund of your deposit.  After being paid for it becomes the property of the buyer and no warranties will be given.  I will store the car for 2 to 3 weeks for transport pickup after it is paid for and will help a transport driver load.  Thanks for looking!   Jon  cell 620-224-3437

Kansas buyers are subject to 8.65% Kansas sales tax. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. As a 3rd generation small town car dealer I do my best to find and disclose troublesome issues with our cars.  We do however recomend that you inspect or have an agent (car club member,local new car service department, etc.)inspect the car before shipping.  Once the car is inspected, paid for, and leaves our dealership, any defects, repairs, or incured damage becomes the buyers responsibility.  We do have a 100% rating for a reason.

Kansas residents must pay 8.65% sales tax.  Drivable vehicles will be furnished a 30 day temperary license tag is needed.
