1974 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser Off-road 4x4 Winch Hard-Top Used What you're bidding on: A classic 1974 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser off-road 4x4 vehicle with hard-top, working winch, side doors, and new tires ($800). I inherited this vehicle from a family member so I will do my best to answer any and all questions, but know that I am not an expert on the vehicle. Starts up, runs, and drives fine. Has good power, and can go off-road no problem around our property in the woods/southern Adirondacks. It may be a 6-cylinder, not sure. Has an aftermarket gas tank added in the cab behind the seats, but includes the tank that was in it (pictured with the snow plow). Not sure of other modifications but the prior owner was a serious 4x4 enthusiast and put a lot of money into this vehicle. This was from Arkansas so it has minimal rust. Spoke to the mechanic who maintained and serviced the vehicle this morning and got some additional details:

-it is a 6 cylinder Toyota engine, *NOT* a 4 cylinder as in the item description
-it has the original engine, transmission and drivetrain
-the winch can haul/pull 9000 lbs (pounds)
-the wheelbase was extended 18" to provide more space for hauling
-rot in rear cut off and sections replaced
-A snow plow with mounting plates that fit the Toyota Land Cruiser is available as a separate purchase (will list that soon). The plow could use a new blade but works fine.
