 Description

Here is a 2005 Calillac XLR, a Southern California rust free convertible with 102,xxx miles on the odometer.  These are awsome cars to drive and they are quite rare to see on the road these days since there were only 15k produced in all it's years of production!   This is a nice car I am selling.  Paint is in excellent condition and interior is very good.  I am selling this car with no reserve.  Has a clear Carfax, no accidents.  Please give me a call at 714 - 2 81  -  2  1  2 3

 

Exterior wise, this Xenon blue XLR looks excellent.  Has minimal wear and tear but overall looks great!  Power convertible top works excellent as seen in my video posted above.  The chrome on the front grill is flaking off a little.   Wheels are in grear shape, chrome looks excellent and there is minimal curb rash.  Tail lights and headlights both in excellent condition.  Michelin tires have over 70% tread remaining.

 

Interior wise, the car looks very nice.  Seats are in excellent shape and leather is soft, no rips or holes to worry about.  Driver seats is power and both seats are 6 way power seats with lumbar and bolster controls and are heated as well.   Carpeting is in good shape overall, no holes and has a set of original floor mats with Cadillac emblem.   Center arm rest is clean and latches perfectly.  Dash looks excellent as well as plastic center console.  Has Navigation/CD in dash that is working great.  Steering wheel has a small wear spot as seen in photos.   Wood paneling is in good condition on center console. Cup holder door hinges are broken.  Everything works inside.  Overall interior in good condition, no odors whatsoever. Has Lojack and onstar with one Key fob remote and one chipped key.

 

Mechanically, the car runs very well.  The XLR is based on the Corvette C5 chassis which was a great idea by GM!  The engine is a 4.6l / 320hp which gets 19mpg combined!  Pretty good considering the extreme performance available.  Engine runs smooth and has no problems or warning lights. Transmission shifts smooth, no hard shifts or slips.  Steers good and drives nice.  Tires in good shape.  Rims have minimal rash and chrome looks good.
