At the heart of this Fury is the VERY STRONG - ORIGINAL - OPTIONAL - Code "61" - "Commando" 383 CID V8 motor in it which is running very well indeed. The motor also still retains its ORIGINAL intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifolds, ORIGINAL valve covers, ORIGINAL carb and the ORIGINAL air cleaner housing, ETC... . Sounds good too with the factory style exhaust system. The engine is backed by a  SMOOTH - Code "5" - three speed "TorqueFlight" automatic transmission that also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL - MOSTLY FACTORY ORIGINAL !! - Code "M1F" - Light and Dark Green Brocade cloth and vinyl interior in this BEAUTY is STUNNING including a VERY NICE MOSTLY ORIGINAL Light and Dark Green Brocade cloth and vinyl front seat, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Light and Dark Green Brocade cloth and vinyl rear seat, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Matching Green vinyl door panels, VERY NICE Dark Green carpeting, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Light Green vinyl headliner, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Light Green vinyl sunvisors, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Dark Green vinyl dash, VERY NICE ORIGINAL factory guage clusters, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Plymouth steering wheel and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Dark Green vinyl dash pad with NO CRACKS !! This Fury III Hardtop is nicely equipped including WORKING FACTORY "Airtemp" AIR CONDITIONING, factory  power brakes, factory power steering, factory 6 way power adjustable front bench seat, factory front and rear seat belts, working original Plymouth solid state AM radio, factory guage cluster with a 120 MPH speedometer although the fuel guage has stopped working, factory tilt and telescoping steering wheel, sears digital clock which is no longer working, factory wing windows, working fender mounted turn signal indicators, original clock which is no longer working, cruise control, good heater and defroster, original day / night rear view mirror, original chrome driver's remote side view exterior mirror, original driver's side view remote exterior mirror, factory power wipers, factory back up lights and an "Ariguide" dash mounted compass. All of the ORIGINAL light lenses and reflectors are also clear, bright UNCRACKED and BEAUTIFUL !!

This Plymouth Fury III Hadtop has great looks and GREAT "Commando" V8 power as well ! There are not many of these left on the roads for sure ! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. The suspension and drive line seem to be in good working order as well as the electrical system. Check out the AWESOME FACTORY ORIGINAL Plymouth stainless steel wheel covers with NEARLY NEW whitewall steel belted radial tires !! Boy does this combination look OUTSTANDING on this Fury III and really retains that clean - "Factory Original" - look !! This vehicle is in very good condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It will not disappoint someone looking for a good example of a sought after and hard to find collector car which is not seen at every stop light for sure. All of the ORIGINAL rubber weatherstripping is soft, supple and in GREAT condtion for being original. If you have been looking but cannot find a Classic Plymouth Fury III Hardtop worthy of your hard earned money look NO further because this is the one ! All of the ORIGINAL chrome and stainless steel exterior body trim and moldings on this car are in VERY NICE condition including VERY NICE ORIGINAL chrome front and rear bumpers, VERY NICE ORIGINAL badging and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL  stainless steel grill and headlight surrounds. This vehicle is in nice mechanical condition and it runs and drives VERY WELL !! It is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression.
