Please note that experience shows us that the photobucket of over 100 large pixel pictures posted here are in most cases best viewed and downloaded using the very latest and most updated version of the 'Firefox' browser as some other browsers and especially older browser versions are not capable of accommodating the size of the download. Over the years our clients have overwhelmingly been appreciative of our many unaltered large pixel photos posted in our ads and our feedback has been that it is very rare that a dealer will post all but the most flattering of professionally finished photographs. We prefer to post the many photos taken of the car, in sometimes unflattering but natural sunlight, in order for our prospective buyers to be able to see true and reliable images of the car advertised and that is the reason for some seemingly duplicated shots. We trust you will agree.

The floor boards, trunk and all the typical rust-prone areas are completely solid and rust-free and the car has no signs of any accidents with only a very minor parking lot dent or two noticeable upon close inspection- obviously a garaged and cherished driver since new.

The car looks extremely impressive with its original factory paint in very good condition apart from one very minor paint blemish on the hood and please note that there are a couple of minor parking lot dents (see photos below) and one original missing center hubcap. The original 'Green Vinyl Custom Bench Seat' interior is also in exceptional condition throughout! All the chrome-work is also in good condition and the original spare wheel and jack are located in their compartment in the trunk.

The original matching # 430cid 4 barrel engine is extremely strong and powerful and this particular car drives absolutely magnificently - must be driven to be fully appreciated - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern day sports car a run for it's money! The car has power windows and it's original 'Buick' radio. The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears, there are no noticeable oil leaks and the temperature always remains cool!

All recent work completed at 'AJ's Auto Works' of Tempe, AZ with records available.

Owned for over 35 years by only one mature and careful driving California family - never abused - obviously always garaged and babied all the way! This is one very rare and highly desirable and collectible original example of one of the outstanding GM designs of the sixties, which has high repute amongst collectors for both it's beautiful lines and smooth and high power performance for a luxury coupe.

In summary, this is one great daily driving and turn-key ready to enjoy today original California car which spent its life only in the dry states of California and later in Arizona and was obviously always garaged from the elements and which has no history of any rust!  This is a very fine example of an increasingly desirable and collectible 1969 Buick Riviera 430-4 coupe! A sure-fire investment that's sure to appreciate over the years for any classic American sixties car collector or simply any Buick enthusiast!
