1967 PONTIAC FIREBIRD SPRINT CONVERTIBLE

Washington state

This is a pretty rare find in a true 1967 Pontiac Firebird Sprint Convertible that has gone through a cosmetic and mechanical restoration over the last few years which included paint, interior, top and the mechanics. The thought was to return her to her former glory where she was a daily driver type for most of her life. I bought this car 85% done with only minor stuff needed to complete her. This is a true Firebird Sprint convertible with her original 250CI/230HP Overhead Cam 6 and 3 speed manual transmission.

She has about 100 miles on a motor rebuilt that was done a few years ago while waiting for the rest of the project to catch up. She needed alot of little things professionally done to make her ready to drive again. I had to rebuilt the original 4bbl carb meant for this car and gave her a fresh and complete tune up including plugs, wires, fluids and the such. She runs out good now but will need some final tuning for sure along with some driving. The motor compartment looks clean and has been detailed.

An Original Sprint Firebird

Original motor/carb

Fresh Tune up

New Alternator

Rebuilt Carb

Original 3 speed

New Power Top

New Interior

New Exhaust

Newer Tires

New Parade boot

New Rubber seals

The interior has been redone with new rubber, seat covers, door panels and carpet. The dash is original and looks good with one crack above the gauges. All the glass is excellent as is the new power top and parade boot.

The paint was redone in her original Mayfair Maize and has been detailed but could be taken to another level with a nice polish. The chrome is very clean and the body is very straight. No issues with the floors or trunk pan and looks to have been solid all its life.
