Please note that experience shows us that the photobucket of over 100 large pixel pictures posted here are in most cases best viewed and downloaded using the very latest and most updated version of the 'Firefox' browser as some other browsers and especially older browser versions are not capable of accommodating the size of the download. Over the years our clients have overwhelmingly been appreciative of our many unaltered large pixel photos posted in our ads and our feedback has been that it is very rare that a dealer will post all but the most flattering of professionally finished photographs. We prefer to post the many photos taken of the car, in sometimes unflattering but natural sunlight, in order for our prospective buyers to be able to see true and reliable images of the car advertised and that is the reason for some seemingly duplicated shots. We trust you will agree.

West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and simply stunning example of this original southern California owner 1982 Mercedes-Benz 380SL roadster with only 35K original miles in original factory 'English Red' color paint with its original matching color factory hardtop, a 'Palomino' leather interior and matching original German canvas and hardly used dark brown soft top! Always garaged with no accidents or rust and a clean CARFAX report!

The original factory 'English Red' color paint is in virtually flawless condition as is the original 'Palomino' leather interior. The car has it's original factory matching 'English Red' hard top and the original dark brown German canvas color soft top is also virtually as new!

The car's factory options include automatic transmission, power assisted steering, power brakes, tinted glass, cruise control, electric window lifts, electrically heated rear window on hard top, fully independent suspension, power assisted four wheel disc brakes, limited slip differential, automatic antenna, Halogen head and fog lamps, automatic air conditioning with climate control, central locking and factory chrome 'Bundt' style alloy wheels. Please note the car has a professionally installed after market CD player. All the factory options work as they should including the air conditioning.

The car was originally sold on 12/7/1981 for $42,199.16 and then primarily serviced at 'Jim Marino Mercedes-Benz' of Alhambra, California with all original service records and purchase order and handbooks available and in recent years it has been serviced primarily at 'Penske Mercedes-Benz' of West Covina, California with a recent full service at 35,246 miles and drives exactly like such a well maintained and serviced Mercedes should and truly must be seen and driven to be truly appreciated. The engine is extremely strong with no noticeable oil leaks, the transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the temperature always remains cool. The car has a recent California smog certificate.

Without doubt, this is one of the finest classically beautiful roadster designs built by Mercedes-Benz, probably the last classically beautiful convertible series they built and now becoming more desirable and collectible than ever before - certainly you will look long and hard to find a finer head-turning example with only 35K original miles with all of its primarily Mercedes-Benz dealer service records since 1982 and only one mature southern California owner who cherished and has always garaged and babied the car since new available anywhere else!
