1996 Volvo 850 Turbo Wagon 4-door 2.3l on 2040-cars
Klamath Falls, Oregon, United States
This is a 1996 Volvo, I purchased it a couple days ago strictly for resale, It has a brand new turbo which cost $1000.00 replaced by previous owner, it is an automatic transmission, body is straight, interior is in real good shape for its age, I believe it is two owner previous to my purchase. I am selling the vehicle as is, you are welcome to buy it and part it out, you also could repair the engine, I prefer to sell it cheaper than to spend time and money on engine repair. I have many pictures of it, and what is seen in the pictures is what is for sale. If you bid on it please respect my time and costs and finish the payment process. I expect payment in full within two to three business days from close of auction. It is parked in my driveway, after sale I can have it towed to a storage yard, and the cost would be $35.00 per month until you pick it up. This car was a part of the previous owners family since 1999. Have pink slip and it is registered in Oregon until 2015. Thanks for bidding

Despite the impressive production debuts from Porsche and BMW at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show - the 918 Spyder and the i8, respectively - there was one car that captured the attention of the press and the public alike, enough so that we awarded it our overall top pick of the show: the Volvo Concept Coupe. Most concepts never make it to production, but the car's reception has been so positive that Volvo's board of directors is considering to produce it in limited quantities, Auto Bild reports. Italian coachbuilder Bertone could handle the limited production run.

Styled after the classic P1800, the Volvo concept was similar to the new Porsche and BMW in that it was equipped with a high-performance hybrid drivetrain. But Volvo took a different route from there, giving the sleek coupe a turbocharged and supercharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor at the rear axle. All in, the combo is good for 400 horsepower and 490 pound-feet of torque.
If the Concept Coupe makes it to production, it may not get the trick hybrid drivetrain mentioned above, Motor Athority reports, but a milder plug-in hybrid setup or even just a conventional fuel-burning engine. In any case, it would be a treat if Volvo produced a fully functional, street-legal Concept Coupe, though at that point we're thinking it would be due for a name change.
Want a rugged Volvo wagon? Gothenburg has two kinds to offer: there's the XC crossovers on the one hand and ruggedized wagons on the other. As we reported last month from the unveiling of the new XC90 in Sweden, Volvo plans on offering more Cross Country wagons in the future. But in the meantime, it has upgraded the existing V40 Cross Country with some key enhancements - not the least of which is the long-awaited addition of all-wheel drive.

Powertrain upgrades for Volvo's smallest soft-roader include the new T5 engine (a 1.7-liter turbo four producing 245 horsepower), an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The new powertrain is not only more capable, but also more environmentally friendly than the old T5 it replaces.
The enhanced V40 Cross Country launches in Europe mid-fall before being rolled out in other markets in the following months, but unfortunately the United States is not among them as the V40 is not offered Stateside in any configuration, which is a shame.
