Here is a rare Volvo 264GLE with the PRV engine.

This car runs great and is a blast to drive. It has the 2.7L PRV engine in it which is a collaboration motor that Peugeot, Renault, and Volvo all went in on. It is a powerful motor and was only put in certain car. Then you add the fact that this car is a 5-Speed Manual with Overdrive which was a rare option and this car is sweet. This is a rare car that you don't see many of. This is a 1 Owner Car and has low miles at 113K Original. This car spent most of it's life in Europe and was a Special Ordered Diplomat Car. The previous owner kept all the manuals and even filled out all the mileage and locations. He even had all the service manuals for the car which is very cool but these do not go with the car. You can tell he really cared for this car. The car is very fun to drive and just cruises down the road. Under the hood and undercarriage are clean and dry as can be. Make sure to watch the video I do a complete walk around of the car inside and out and even take it on a test drive.

This is a 1 Owner Car

The exterior of this car is beautiful. It is silver in color and has a very nice shine to it. It is starting to fade on the top surfaces but nothing major and the car still looks great. All of the chrome and trim are very nice and clean on the car and the chrome just shines in the sun. This car is straight as can be and you can tell it was definitely cared for over the years. It has a very nice set of Aftermarket Factory 15" Volvo Wheels on it which I'm not sure if came on the car or were added afterwards. Either way the look great.

It has a very nice set of Pirelli Tires that are fairly new and I would say have about 90% tread left. These are very nice tires that have a lot of miles left on them and even still have the titties on the side.

The interior is very clean on this car. It has the black leather interior that goes very well with the exterior. It has the real leather seats that are in very good condition and just need some conditioning. The front seats look great and there is just a couple small cracks on the seams of the drivers seat. These can be easily fixed. The back seats look great and don't look like they got sat in much. The carpets are in the same great condition. The previous owner kept all the manuals and records possible. It has a nice Aftermarket Pioneer CD Player installed in it as well. Make sure to watch the video I go through and show you everything.

This is just a beautiful car that is rare and you just don't see many like anymore. These cars are powerful and a blast to drive. Don't miss out on this one.

2. INSPECTION: Every car we sell is inspected by our specialists and described to the best of our ability. All specs, dimensions and disclosures are believed to be correct but cannot be guaranteed or warranted. Feedback is very important and as you can see, we have a high rating of customer satisfaction on eBay. Thank you. INSPECT BEFORE YOU ACCEPT: Extortion is criminal and Feedback is not a tool for extortion and it is illegal to use it in that manner after a sale. We will not fold to any type of extortion after a sale. We are wholesalers and these vehicles are offered at WHOLESALE TO THE PUBLIC which frequently results in savings to you of thousands below the Kelley Blue Book retail appraisal. That is a deal in itself. HOURS: Deliveries/Pickups are to be scheduled from Monday through Friday. No deliveries/Pickups are permitted on Saturday or Sunday unless special arrangements are made in advance with our trust department.
3. $65 SERVICE/HANDLING Fee’s & Taxes: Buyer must pay a $65 dealer service & handling fee per car purchased AND $58.25 For California SMOG. (We Can Express Your Packages For a Extra $30) All of your paperwork title and tags will be sent priority mail or UPS.
California Residents pay sales tax on the final sale price of the vehicle. Sales tax will vary for California buyers based on the city/county you reside in. All domestic purchases add $65 CA documentation fee and $58.25 CA SMOG. International buyers are charged a $200 documentation fee and $58.25 CA SMOG. We may be required to collect sales tax for your state. ATTENTION Out of State Buyers If you Ship Your Vehicle there is no California Sales Tax If you must pick up your car We MUST Collect California Sales Tax. Volvo pranks newest valet on the Italian Riviera

Being a valet on the Italian Riviera seems like a pretty sweet gig for a young guy. Not only do you get to watch beautiful people coming and going all day and night, but there's the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a plethora of exotic sports cars. Of course, being responsible for those expensive vehicles has to be pretty nerve wracking to get used to on the first day.
In a new commercial, Volvo pranks a new valet at the San Remo Casino to see how he would handle a surprise showing up on the red carpet. If the look on his face in the screenshot above doesn't show it, he's pretty shocked by what he sees. We don't want to spoil the reveal, so just watch the ad to find out. Volvo uncovers widespread cheating by its Chinese dealers

According to a report in Reuters, the findings of an internal investigation conducted by Geely-owned Volvo is that its Chinese dealers vastly overreported their sales numbers in 2011, then even more vastly underreported their 2012 sales figures. About "half the dealers" out of the 151 total outlets gamed the system in order to get incentives for reaching volume objectives, falsely recording about 7,000 more units sold than was actually the case. Instead of 47,140 cars sold in China in 2011, the real number should have been 39,871.
Volvo corporate books a sale once it ships a car to a dealer, so that meant there were 7,000 more cars in inventory than there should have been. To restore the balance, the dealers underreported their 2012 sales while they unloaded those extra cars since, naturally, they couldn't claim the sale again. That made it look like sales declined by 11 percent in 2012, even though they actually increased year-on-year. The adjusted sales number for 2012 totalled 45,896.
Volvo has met with its dealers and told them to stop the deceitful practice. The discrepancies weren't so great that the company plans to restate its historic numbers, but from now on, it apparently plans to occasionally check inventory to make sure the numbers match and that it has a true picture of how individual models are selling.

Volvo specs new 450-hp triple-charged four-cylinder engine

When Volvo lifted the veil on the new XC90 a little over a month ago, it announced that all versions would be powered by one engine design: a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder to be offered in various states of tune. That would range, Volvo said, all the way up to a high-output version with "around 400 horsepower," but while it wouldn't specify exact output, now it has.
The new High Performance Drive-E Powertrain incorporates two parallel turbochargers fed by a third electric turbo-compressor. Instead of feeding the cylinders directly, that third unit spools up the twin turbochargers, working together with a dual fuel pump pressurized to 250 bar.
The result is an output of 450 horsepower - far more than the existing 320-hp version and even more than expected. That also works out to 225 hp/liter, far more than the 177 hp/liter boasted by Mercedes-AMG's high-output turbo four and the 139 hp/liter in the Alfa Romeo 4C. Short of a rotary engine (whose actual displacement is the subject of great debate), you'd have to go up to something like the Koenigsegg One:1 (268 hp/liter) to find a higher specific output than what Volvo's boasting here.
