God's own Lightweight 1974 Triumph TR6 Race Car Project CF22273-

God had started this as a race car project by removing most of the floors, lightening the car considerably. He hasn't had time to finish the project as he is spending a considerable amount of time in the Middle East. Anyway, he told us to sell his car and when God talks, we listen, Plus, he promised us a case of beer for our efforts when he gets back, though it may be some time.

I am advertising this car as a parts car though it could be restored. It desperately needs floors (God's method of removing the originals does not allow for re-installation, except by him), but the frame is good and the rest of the body is workable. It has a complete drive train and the engine does run. I will provide a link to a video of the engine running at the bottom of the auction. This car has a good windshield, a solid trunk and all the suspension and steering is intact and serviceable. As you can see from the pictures, this car has a LOT of good parts that would be very handy to have for a restoration.

This car would also make a great platform for a rat rod engine conversion with a Chevrolet or Ford V8.

Whatever you decide to do with her, at least you will have the fact that your project is ordained by the Almighty going for you, which will make a good argument for your wife. PLUS, as an added bonus, God will grant the winning bidder total consciousness on his deathbed, which is nice.

$500. Deposit due within 48 hours of auction end with balance due within 10 days of auction end. This is a "Bill of Sale" sale as God lost the title somewhere around Proverbs 31:7 (Ebay did not give me a "no title" option, miles are unknown).

We are flexible on pick up and can easily help load the car on a trailer.

Thanks for looking, please email with any questions about the car. Please direct any questions you have for the King of Kings directly to him, just make sure it's not a question you can answer yourself, Dude is very busy.

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
