Wonderful 1976 Triumph Tr6
Low Reserve
This vehicle has undergone a full exterior and interior restoration.
Along with a complete mechanical work over.
The engine was rebuilt to factory specs.
New pistons bearings and rings were added. Original spec cylinder bore, just honed to clean.
Low mileage engine to start.
The head was cleaned, checked for cracks and new valves and springs were seated.
A new clutch kit was added. Transmission shifts very smoothly and did not require attention.
Fuel tank was cleaned and new metal and rubber fuel lines were added.
Carburetors were rebuilt
Front suspension was addressed with new upper and lower ball joints , sway bar bushings and shocks.
Rear suspension did not require attention.
Front brake calipers were rebuilt, with new pads too. Rear brakes rebuilt with new cylinders and shoes.
Also both front and rear rubber brake hoses were added.
New paint was applied using Basf urethane brilliant white.
The interior received new seat upholstery and foam kits.
New carpet, door panels, kick panels.
The dash was replaced with a new one from TRF
The top and two bottom crash (dash) pads were replaced with new quality replacements.
All gauges were cleaned and look new
A new convertible top was installed along with new banding and seals.
The bumpers are original to the car and are in excellent shape. They show minor wear and still look great.
All new seals were added to the entire vehicle. New windshield lower seal and surround seal. New door seals and windshield frame seals.
new trunk seal.
A new trunk carpet and trunk kit was installed.
This Triumph runs very nicely and idles smooth
electrical systems are in excellent shape. Lights , signals, all work.
Wiper and washer work. Door buzzer works. All gauges other than fuel are working. Needs new fuel sender.
This is a very nice top end driver quality restoration. It should have no problems winning awards at local car events.
All parts of the engine compartment were highly detailed and addressed with new hardware, hoses, cables etc

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack
Sun, 21 Sep 2014Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
