I have a really nice 1972 Triumph TR6 for sale. It is a rust free Southern California car!! The frame and undercarriage also has zero rust, including the trouble spot near the rear differential. I bought it from the original owner.  The car is my daily driver, and is just a blast to drive!!  I gave it a fresh coat of paint, and it is by no means perfect, but is really nice and shines well! I would say if the next owner had a professional paint job on it, this would be a $25k car! My reserve is far less than that....

Since I bought it i have gone through the entire car mechanically - brakes, suspension, engine, overdrive, etc. This car is bullet proof!  I also added electronic ignition and a flamethower coil along with dual down draft webers. The car runs fantastic and cruises on the highway at 80 mph purring like a kitten. I do have the original Zenith carbs if the new owner wants to go back to the original set up. The car sits on
tires with 75% left on the tread, freshly painted wheels (correct silver color) and chrome trim rings. I have the boot cover as well as the full tonneau cover. The top is not new, but has no rips and fits well.Full sized spare tire in the boot.

I added the luggage rack to the car - just like the look of it. The trunk is just as nice as the rest of the car, with carpet and panels in place. The interior is all brand new - new carpet and interior panels, and I completely rebuilt the seats - new foam, springs, bands, and covers. They wrap around you while you drive!! The dash is perfect with no crack and nice patina. Every gauge works perfectly, and I added a bluetooth stereo with usb port to charge your phone!

I am selling this car to fund my next project. I am looking for a Big Healey to restore, so if anyone has one that needs work and would be interested in a trade (plus maybe some cash) I would be interested in hearing what you might have to offer! I am in no hurry to sell, and will hold out til I get what I know is a fair price for the car. The car is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
