Here is a beautiful, 1969 Triumph TR6 roadster in excellent condition inside and out. This is the first year for the highly popular TR6, which makes in highly collectable. The car was recently restored, starting with a nice clean, rust free car. It was recently traded in to a Toyota store on a new car. This car is a blast to drive with its inline 6-cylinder engine and 4-speed manual transmission. It also has both tops, which include the standard soft-top and rare optional hardtop. This little TR6 needs nothing and is ready to be driven and enjoyed. Super clean, TR6's like this don't come around to often! It's loaded with the following equipment:
It has gorgeous brand new Sienna Brown paint job that looks amazing. The car was taken apart and done right. All the rubbers in the car where replaced. The body is straight as an arrow and totally rust free. All the chrome is very nice. It has its original set of wheels that with like new redline tires. It has an all black interior and it looks beautiful in the car. The dash and gauge cluster is very clean and bright. Everything is in working order except for the original radio. It still has its original black soft top that is good but shows its age a touch. The optional removable hardtop was also restored and looks great. Mechanically, This TR6 runs and drives excellent. It is powered by its correct inline 6-cylinder engine and 4-speed manual transmission. We believe the drivetrain was recently rebuilt. Under the hood is all stock and beautifully detailed!! All in all, this is a beautiful 1969 Triumph TR6 roadster that is ready to be driven and enjoyed. This is clean, solid car that don't come around very often! The car has an Iowa reassigned vin due to the original vin tag being lost during the restoration. It is no big deal and the car can be registered anywhere. Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack
Sun, 21 Sep 2014Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
