Mechanically fantastic. Purchased this TR-6 2 years ago for $11,000. She was nice then. Since then I have had carbs rebuilt, New Dayton Wire Wheels, New Red Line Tires, New Shocks All Around, New Springs All Around, Electronic Ignition, New Oil Seals Everywhere, and much more. Everything works. I live in Ocala, FL and have no problem hopping in the car and driving 5 hours to South Florida. The 69 TR-6 is the onlyTR-6 with the high back bucket seats. This is the TR to have......Factory OD, Factory Wires (New Daytons), Chrome Bumpers, High Back Buckets, etc. Before purchasing, I would be happy to let you speak to my mechanic, he was born in London, apprenticed with the City of London, and grew up working on British Leyland products. He's done all the work to this car, except for the little bit he let me do. Serious inquiries only, please. |

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack
Sun, 21 Sep 2014Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
