        1979 Triumph Spitfire..Mild Restoration....New Top, New Front/Rear Brakes, Original Wheels/Hubcaps, Recent Tune Up and Oil Change, New Optima Battery, New Tires, New Gas Shocks, New Door Mirrors, New Dayton Wire Wheels, New Chrome Valve Stems, Just Spin Balanced, New Carpet, New Hounds Tooth Upholstery, New Seat Backs, New Seat Cushions, New Door Panels, New Trim, New Mats, New Visors, New Air Cleaner, Custom Roll Bar, New Gearshift Boot, New Retractable Seat Belts, New Door Seals, New Door Clips, Owners Manual and 1 Key. This is a Great Spitfire, everything works mechanically and cosmetically. The wipers, hazards, turn signals, fan, window regulators, seat adjustments, choke all work. The original stereo is installed but is not operational. This Triumph was purchased New in Oregon and is currently titled and registered in Washington. The plates and tags are current. It starts right up and idles smoothly, runs great and needs nothing mechanically. The paint is in average condition for a 1979, it would be the only thing to be done to complete the restoration. There is no rust anywhere and no rust has been repaired or replaced from our knowledge of the repairs.

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
