MUST SELL MY BABY FAST........I HAVE A NEW BABY ON THE WAY!!!! Must be sold by Friday 4/19 or it will go back to the dealer. 2006 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 TRD Sport SR5 Pickup V6 4.0 Liter 4WD Automatic ABS 4wheel SR5 TRD Sport Power Steering Tilt Wheel Multi Disc CD Premium Sound Westin Running Boards Westin Grille Guard Air Conditioning ( Blows Cold! ) Power Windows Power Door Locks Cruise Control Sliding Rear Window Dual Air Bags Tonneau Cover Bed Liner Towing Package Premium Wheels ***** 90% of the miles are highway miles. I work 30 miles from home. Every recommended service has been completed. Serviced by Liberty Toyota. Not one major issue. Brakes and tires have been replaced. Tires are approximately a year old. Truck is in excellent condition. Washed regularly and detailed. Clean Car Fax with no damage. Only a few minor (small) scratches....normal wear and tear. The interior is very clean.....vacuumed just about every week. Bed is clean with a bed mat as well. Really, I planned on keeping this truck until it wouldn't go anymore. Per Toyota standards, this truck is just breaking in with many more years and miles to come. The only reason I am selling it is because I am buying a large cargo trailer and will be towing it on a regular basis. If it wasn't for that.....it would be handed down to my son. ( He is bummed out about it!!! ) What you see in the pictures is what you get!!!! She's a beauty!!! Please contact me with any questions. I have another truck on order that is coming in next Saturday. If I don't have a deal wrapped up by Friday, it will go back to the dealer. This is a great value!!! Thank you for your time and interest.

2014 Toyota Tundra to debut at Chicago Auto Show
Thu, 24 Jan 2013The fullsize pickup market is dominated by trucks from Ford, General Motors and Ram, but this segment could get some hefty competition in coming years. We've already reported that Nissan is planning a redesign of its Titan truck for 2015, and now Toyota has announced that it will be revealing the 2014 Tundra next month at the Chicago Auto Show.
In the brief press release posted below, Toyota says that the 2014 Tundra will be "redesigned," but it's unclear as to whether this means we'll be seeing an all-new truck or just an extensive refresh. The current Tundra design has been around since 2007 and sales are hardly worrisome to the Big Three, so a new design would be a logical guess.
In any case, we only have to wait a couple more weeks for the new Tundra to debut on February 7, and we'll be on hand to bring you plenty of live coverage from the show.
This first-gen Toyota Celica is one mean mother
Tue, 09 Jul 2013Brian Karasawa's gen-one Toyota Celica is, in a word, badass. As a long-standing fan of the marque, the doting owner has tried to both restore and improve his Celica keeping period-correct modifications in mind. The 20R/22R mashup engine is outputting roughly 185 horsepower and graced with a lot of JDM-specific parts and modifications. Clearly, the exhaust has been upgraded from stock, as clips of the orange Toyota in motion are accompanied by one hell of a nice sound.
Tastes clearly vary, and there's not as much love for the first-wave of Japanese metal as there is for similar era American-iron, but we're pleased to see these cars finally getting more time in the spotlight. Scroll down below to see why we're stoked, and consider cruising your local Craigslist for late 1970s and early 1980s Japanese coolness (before we get there first).
Mazda ad showing Facebook updates while driving criticized by Senate committee [w/video]
Sat, 08 Feb 2014Senate Commerce Committee Chairman Jay Rockefeller, D-WV, held an all-day summit on Thursday to discuss the dangers of using modern technology while driving, during which an ad that Mazda aired during the Super Bowl was used as an example of the worrisome future towards which we're headed. While seemingly innocuous at first glance, the ad, which can be seen below, shows a brief glimpse of a driver using the Mazda Connect infotainment system in a Mazda3 to check/update his Facebook page while driving down the road.
Officials from major communications companies like Samsung, Google and Apple attended the summit, as well as representatives from automakers including General Motors and Toyota. A representative from Mazda was not present despite the company's own currently available technology being used as the poster child for the issues being discussed.
According to Automotive News, Senator Rockefeller warned the automaker and communication execs on hand that he will propose legislation to regulate the use of technology while driving if they don't work together to implement their own standards more quickly. Michael Robinson, GM's vice president of sustainability and global regulatory affairs, argued that his company has had distracted driving guidelines in place for 15 years since the advent of its OnStar system, noting that the technology in question has also helped the automaker save lives through automatic crash detection and calls to 911.
