TacomaHQ is proud to offer another immaculate, impossible to find, and great looking 1999 Toyota Tacoma Xtracab 4x4. It was just traded into a Honda dealership on a new car and we were able to purchase it right from them. It has both clean Carfax and Autocheck Vehicle History Reports. The truck has basically spent it's entire life in Idaho, and has no rust! You absolutely do not find older Tacomas in this nice of condition. This was a non-smoker truck and it runs and drives 100%! I have offered and sold 65+ 1995-2004 Tacomas on eBay in the past year.

The exterior is in phenomenal shape. The hard to find original "Natural White" paint shines excellent! There aren't any dents, dings, or scratches anywhere on the truck as you can see in pictures. If I wanted to get very picky there are two extremely small dings on the passenger front door. You won't find another one this clean! The bumpers are clean as are the wheels. The undercarriage has NOT been spraypainted, undercoated or anything at all like most dealers. The undercarriage is absolutely mint on this Tacoma. The rear end is very clean and dry, and there are no leaks underneath.

The interior is absolutely mint. The carpets, seats, dashboard, glass, and headliner are all in great shape. There isn't any wear or tear to mention. There aren't any smoke smells, burns, or marks inside. There is an unused cigarette lighter included. All of the electronics are functioning properly.

This Tacoma runs and drives perfect as you would expect. Everything works as it should. The 3.4L 6-Cylinder engine starts instantly and runs great. The transmission shifts very nice and the clutch grabs strong. The 4-wheel-drive and low range work exactly as they should. The truck goes straight down the road with no shakes, rattles, or pulls. There are no exhaust leaks. The brakes stop great with no pulsations as well. We have just installed rear shocks on the truck. The 31" Toyota Open Country A/T tires were installed by the previous owner at 111,000 miles. The steering rack has also been very recently replaced!

I have 1 Key, Tacoma front floormats, Owners manual w/case, clean CarFax report, the full size spare tire, jack, tools, and a clean/clear title.

Toyota GT86 GT4 racer is ready for UK competition

It's about time we saw someone cook up a legitimate race version of the delectable Toyota GT86, and now it looks as if GPRM has done just that. The Buckingham-based race engineering team has built the creation you see here, complete with a turbocharged 2.0-liter, direct-injection four-cylinder boxer cooked up by Nicholson McLaren Engines. The team says the new mill delivers between 360 and 400 horsepower to the rear wheels depending on final testing, which is a sight bit more than the 197 horses the naturally aspirated stock mill offers.
The car will compete in GT4 events, including the Avon Tyres British GT Championship. Technically, the GPRM effort isn't factory backed, but the team says the effort "has the blessing of Toyota Great Britain." How could it not? The New York Times took an in-depth look at the transformative impact that Toyota's engineers had on the city's charities, including The Food Bank, the country's largest anti-hunger charity. The auto manufacturer helped revolutionize the way these organizations served the community, showing that there's more to corporate philanthropy than just donating money.

Toyota RAV4 EV lease gets cut in half to $299/month

If you're in the market for a new electric vehicle, now is definitely the time to buy or lease. Following price drops on just about every other EV on the market, Toyota is looking to push a few more all-electric RAV4 crossovers out the door over the Labor Day weekend. The Detroit News is reporting that, through September 3, anyone looking to get into a RAV4 EV in Los Angeles or San Francisco, can get a deal: a $299 a month lease (no word on down payment, though) or zero-percent financing for 60 months for buyers.
The $49,800 RAV4 EV normally leases for twice as much - $599 a month - so this move could be an attempt to sell more of the 2,600 units Toyota has planned to produce. Or maybe, if you thought $599 was a fair price, you can now get two RAV4 Evs. Although temporary, the price drop comes at a time when many other EVs on the market have had their prices reduced, including the Nissan Leaf, Chevy Volt, Smart Fortwo ED and Honda Fit EV, not to mention already low prices for the Fiat 500e and Chevy Spark EV.
