Nice 2 Owner Fl car! No accidents or paintwork! No flood or rust damage of any kind. Hybrid Battery has been load tested, charged, and had all defective cells replaced!
Exterior Condition- The silver paint is original and in good condition. There is a 5 inch light scratch on the left rear door (notable under close scrutiny only). The left quarter has a ding where it meets the tail light (see pic). Overall above average condition for a vehicle of this vintage with this amount of miles.
Interior Condition- The seats, dash, headliner, carpets, etc. are in very good condition. The only notable imperfection is on the drivers side carpet from heel wear. All of the interior options work as they should, including the a/c.
Engine and Transmission- The engine and transmission perform as they should with no strange noises or vibrations. The starting battery has just been replaced at the dealer.
HV Battery- The hybrid battery performs very well (see the above photo verifying 65.7MPG after 48 miles of driving!! and yes the a/c was on)
Tires- The tires have approx. 10k miles of tread depth remaining.
Overall this is a great car that is an absolute pleasure to drive! I am an independent dealer that specializes in hybrid vehicles and takes pride in my inventory. I will be happy to assist the winning bidder with discounted vehicle transportation or airport pickup. Happy Bidding!

Toyota will steer clear of driverless cars
Thu, 04 Sep 2014Toyota executives say the company's primary focus is on safety. At least for the time being, that means the company won't pursue development of a driverless car.
Speaking at the company's advanced safety seminar in Ypsilanti, MI, Thursday morning, Seigo Kuzumaki, Toyota's deputy chief safety technology officer, said that Toyota envisions a future driving environment that optimizes the best of both humans and computers, not choosing one over the other.
"Toyota's main objective is safety, so it will not be developing a driverless car." - Seigo Kuzumaki
Toyota Hilux successor spotted
Mon, 15 Sep 2014The midsize truck segment is suddenly seemingly exploding with new vehicles worldwide, even here in North America. Not only will the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon be available very soon, Toyota is already testing a replacement for its aging Tacoma and Honda has promised a Ridgeline replacement within the next 18 months. Also, the recently shown Nissan Navara is said to portend the future of our Frontier. Here's some more fresh evidence from Europe of this pickup boom with the next generation of its venerable Hilux in testing.
Thanks to Top Gear and sometimes the evening news, the Hilux has built a reputation of being able to go just about anywhere. According to out spy shooter, this particular pickup was spotted during hot weather testing in southern Europe. Interestingly, a Volkswagen Amarok was along for the ride as a benchmark. Because the VW tends to offer a bit more comfort than the generally utilitarian Hilux, this could indicate Toyota is considering taking the new truck in a slightly comfier, more refined direction.
Compared to the current model, this camouflaged tester sports a narrower front grille and headlights. The hood scoop is also absent here. The lower air dam also receives a more horizontal look, but the more vertical fog light housings provide some contrast. The crazy camouflage pattern makes things hard to discern at the rear, but the taillights appear to be more slender than they on the current model. Unfortunately, mechanical details about the new truck remain a mystery at the moment, but enjoy these spy shots as a preview of one more upcoming pickup.
MotorWeek remembers retro icons, Supra and NSX
Thu, 16 Oct 2014It's easy to poke a joke here and there about John Davis, the long-time host of MotorWeek. His voice is so monotonous that, from time to time, if you closed your eyes, you may think it's generated via a computer. But you have to give him and the rest of the show a lot of credit. The program has been on the air for decades, giving people direct, straight-down-the middle automotive reviews.
MotorWeek's massive back catalog of reviews are slowly making their way onto YouTube, and they provide a fascinating chance to look back on how performance cars rank against their contemporaries from back in the day. Two recent additions include the show's old looks at the 1986 Toyota Supra, the dawn of the third-generation model, and the now-iconic 1991 Acura NSX.
Both reviews are interesting in their own way. These days you hear nary a negative word about the original NSX, but MotorWeek isn't afraid to point out a few flaws. And the Supra really shows the progress of suspension tuning in the intervening decades because it has some serious body roll in the corners. Scroll down to check out both videos and get a blast from the automotive past.
