I am selling my ride. Been working on it for a long time to get there but its finally done.
It's a 92 mr2 sunroof with a V6 swap in it. Odometer has 1000 miles on new swapped engine. The engine i used was a 95 lexus es300 engine. Full aluminum and the wiring was professionally done. There is no problem at all with this car. 99.999999% sure. The gauge cluster works perfectly and the speedometer too. Its manual transmission from the NA MR2 which is a good transmission for its short gears for those that want to track the car. The engine doesnt burn or leak oil at all. There is no problem with overheating and everything is stock. The goods: koniyellow strut inserts 2000 miles TRD springs. 2000 miles 2 10" subwoofers on your back (i rarely use it now since i want to hear the engine more) aftermarket power windows convertion. changed all the balljoints,tie rods, and brake rotors/pads The bads: I want to sell it... drivers side seat has some wear (i bought it like that) Everything that went bad with this car has been replaced. Test drive it and you will know what im talking about. It looks stock but its very fun car and nobody knows that you have a v6 under the hood. Tires: 205/35/17 front 235/40/17 rear front tires last forever and rear tires have 80% thread left...trust me you dont want bald tires on your rear for this car. Exhaust: I used the stock camry Y pipe and stock mr2 NA muffler. Body: clean title pink in hand and current registration. Car was smogged and have current tags and registration so i did all the hardwork for you already This car can take down miatas or honda s2000's at the track....if you cant drive this car then dont buy it or waste my time. I really dont want to sell it but it has to go.... |

Toyota GT86 GT4 racer is ready for UK competition
Tue, 05 Feb 2013It's about time we saw someone cook up a legitimate race version of the delectable Toyota GT86, and now it looks as if GPRM has done just that. The Buckingham-based race engineering team has built the creation you see here, complete with a turbocharged 2.0-liter, direct-injection four-cylinder boxer cooked up by Nicholson McLaren Engines. The team says the new mill delivers between 360 and 400 horsepower to the rear wheels depending on final testing, which is a sight bit more than the 197 horses the naturally aspirated stock mill offers.
The car will compete in GT4 events, including the Avon Tyres British GT Championship. Technically, the GPRM effort isn't factory backed, but the team says the effort "has the blessing of Toyota Great Britain." How could it not? Spongebob Squarepants Toyota Highlander gets Tanked in Vegas
Thu, 07 Nov 2013In 2006, I bought a Scion xB (the super upright, first-generation one), and I always had this wild dream of turning the xBox into an aquarium after it had run its course in my personal test fleet. Long story short, that never happened. But apparently the folks at Toyota got wind of my idea - only, well, this isn't exactly what I had in mind.
Let's just start at the beginning here. This is a 2014 Toyota Highlander - you know, the redesigned one that bowed in New York earlier this year. I haven't driven it yet, but I'm sure it's plenty nice and will appeal to all sorts of families. Families with kids. Kids who like cartoons. Cartoons like Spongebob Squarepants.
Which brings me to our next talking point: the collaboration between Toyota and Nickelodeon for the Spongebob-themed wrap that covers every inch of this Highlander. This isn't the first time we've seen the yellow cartoon sponge on a Highlander - Toyota unveiled a differently wrapped version earlier this year - but this one features more of an aquatic, under-the-sea sort of theme. Perfect, considering the main point of this crossover's reason for being at SEMA.

Thu, 24 Jul 2014Oh, the heady days of 1993, back when the Clinton Presidency was just getting underway, and it seemed like every hot new rock band was coming out of Seattle. Sports cars in the US had finally shaken off the shackles that slowed them during the '70s and '80s, and you could buy any number of legitimately quick vehicles again. MotorWeek recently went digging into its archives to find this six-model test from 1993 showing off some of the best semi-affordable performance coupes that money could buy at the time, and it's priceless.
Featuring the 1994 model year Toyota Supra in twin-turbo guise and MY 1993 versions of the Porsche 968, Nissan 300ZX TT, Mazda RX-7, Dodge Stealth R/T Turbo and Chevrolet Corvette LT-1, MotorWeek definitely covered all of the bases. One thing that might surprise younger readers is these cars' performance. The video only provides 0-60 acceleration times, but several of these vehicles would still be considered pretty potent today - over 20 years since going on sale. The Supra is especially impressive, hitting 60 miles per hour in just 5 seconds. Even today, that's nothing to sneeze at.
Given their performance potential and still-attractive looks, it's amazing that some of these coupes are old enough to drink now. The progress of interior design and safety equipment in the intervening years is pretty shocking, though. In most of these models, having two airbags is touted as a big deal.
