Atlanta, Georgia, United States

It's a great Vehicle. The body is in good shape. The rear back passanger side and front drivers side tires has a slow leak. The CD Player works. The leather on the arm rest is torn and is detached from the hinge. The vehicle has been smoked in; minor cigarette burns. The transmission is good. The engine check light is on  and I took the car to my automotive shop. The code is PO303 Misfire on #3 Cylinder; Engine has low compression on cylinders 1 and 3; #1 has 120 PSI and #3 has 90 PSI; 2 and 4 have 180 PSI; has 1 bad ignition coil for cylinders 2/3; needs the wires replaced; and the cylinder head has a problem - need to pull off the head to check. Might need valve job. The engine will turn over but won't start all the time. If it turns over it runs ruff. It's not original engine. It's a Jasper Motor. It was put in in 2004 by Gowen's Automotive in Fairburn, GA.

The other features: Rear truck spoiler

I inherited the vehicle from my mother and father after their passing. I'm not original owner.

If the vehicle is purchased we can completed the sell on site. I have the title to vehicle. I'll except payment with a cashiers check from a financial institution.(ie..Bank of America, Well's Fargo,) I'll also accept payment in cash as well. I have a no rtn policy. As is sell. The vehicle will have to be towed from location. I'll sign over title to buyer but buyer will be responsible for transferring title to his/her's name and paying neccessery charges.

New drifting world record set in Toyota GT86

Wed, 30 Jul 2014

We have entered a drifting arms race. Last year, BMW smashed the Guinness World Record for the longest drift by hanging the tail out for 51.3 miles around a wet skid pad in an M5 at the BMW Performance Driving School in South Carolina. That beat the previous milestone of nearly seven miles. Now, Bimmer's record is up in smoke as well and is in the possession of a Toyota.
German driver Harald Müller pummeled the old record to drift for 89.55 miles around a 0.15-mile (235.5-meter) course in Samsun, Turkey, in a Toyota GT86 (or Scion FR-S as it's known in the US). According to the Guinness World Records website, it took him 612 laps and 2 hours, 25 minutes and 18 seconds to manage the achievement. Sit back to watch a few minutes of the German's two and a half hours behind the wheel with the tail out.

Eiji Toyoda dead at 100

Tue, 17 Sep 2013

Toyota has had number of chiefs over its 76-year history, but none ever served as long as Eiji Toyoda. The younger cousin of the company's founder served as president of the automaker from 1967 to 1982 and as chairman of the Toyota Motor Corporation for another ten years following the unification of the manufacturing and sales divisions.
During his 25 years at the helm, Eiji Toyoda (pictured above in 1967) was credited with establishing the company's headquarters in Toyota City, spearheading the development of the Prius, expanding production overseas for the first time, launching the Lexus brand and turning Toyota from a minor player into one of the largest automakers in the world.
Even after his retirement in 1992, he remained an honorary chairman and close advisor to his successors, and chaired the company's museum. He died of heart failure, ending a 100-year life that started on September 12, 1913, before the company that bore his family's name (albeit slightly modified) had even started building automatic looms, let alone automobiles. We extend our condolences to the Toyoda family and our congratulations on an accomplished life.

J.D. Power: Vehicle dependability at all-time high, Lexus and Porsche lead

Wed, 13 Feb 2013

Each year, J.D. Power and Associates surveys original owners of three-year-old vehicles to find out what kinds of problems they have had experienced over the last 12 months, and then it uses this data to create its annual Vehicle Dependability Study. This means that the models in the 2013 study are 2010 model year vehicles, and J.D. Power rates each make as well as the top individual models based on how many problems were experienced per 100 vehicles (PP100).
Debunking the idea that carryover models are more dependable than new or updated models, the 2013 study found that the average carryover model experienced 133 PP100, while all-new or redesigned vehicles for the 2010 model year had 116 PP100; vehicles that received minor changes fared the best with just 111 PP100. The overall average for all makes was 126 PP100, which is the lowest figure since the findings were first issued in 1989.
