This 2009 Toyota 4-Runner SR5 is low mileage and was abandoned after a wreck into a median on a major interstate. The recovering tow company auctioned it off and I purchased it to rebuild my self. I obtained a clear Kansas title with the Rebuilt Salvage title designation. No repairs have been completed. It is being sold as is and requires proof of dealer license in the state of purchase. It is considered a wholesale transaction. The interior parts are not damaged and are in great shape. The drive train operates as intended as the damage was suffered up front. The front bumper supports are bent and the passenger side frame end is bent significantly. The hood is complete and needs to have the duct tape removed, should be salvageable. The right rear door and quarter panel have damage. The door needs to be replaced and the quarter flare is missing and body side has damage as well as a buckle above the rear quarter glass. All glass is in tact. The right rear tire is dismounted and all wheels are in good condition and three are inflated properly. The spare is inflated and in tact, properly mounted. Vehicle is being sold as is whole sale to licensed dealers/rebuilders only.

Toyota fills in details about its future design direction and global platform
Fri, 25 Oct 2013
"In the future, out of 100 customers, we want to excite ten of them instead of not offending all 100."
Almost all of the details about the Toyota New Group Architecture (TNGA) strategy have come out since the initiative was first reported on in March of this year, but Autoblog did learn a few new things about it on a recent trip to Japan. Probably the second-most important detail is that each new segment platform will be based around a common hip point to create an "optimal driving position architecture."
Minivan market not what it used to be, but margins make up for it
Thu, 05 Jun 2014
Residual values for last year's minivans are higher than they were in 2000.
Much like the station wagon was the shuttle of Baby Boomer generation, the minivan has been the primary means of transport for Generations X and Y. Just as the boomers abandoned the Country Squire, though, those kids that were toted around in Grand Caravans and Windstars are adults, and they certainly don't want to be seen in the cars their parents drove.
New Toyota semiconductors could increase hybrid fuel efficiency by 10%
Wed, 21 May 2014Toyota may have an ace up its sleeve in the fuel economy wars, as it's developed a new type of semiconductor that will allegedly help the company's hybrids net a ten-percent improvement in fuel economy.
The tech is still in development, although Toyota is already reporting five-percent gains during testing, six years before it plans to implement the new semiconductor in production vehicles, meaning the ten-percent improvement doesn't seem like an untenable goal. That is, until you hear from Kimimori Hamada, the project general manager of Toyota's electronics division.
"We are aiming for great improvement in fuel economy and miniaturization," Hamada told Automotive News. "This is a very challenging target."
