2003 Ford Mustang Gt Convertible 2-door 4.6l 96k Miles on 2040-cars
Hemlock, Michigan, United States
I have a very nice Mustang 4.6l GT convertible. The car is an automatic has 96k
miles on it with 6 disc in dash cd, Mach speaker, leather seats, cruise control, power drivers seat,
windows, locks, new rims last year, adult owned and driven. The car I had before
this was a 85 this was my first real nice car and I treated it as such. I have
owned it for 5 years and never winter driven. The top has one small tear that
has been patched and looks good drivers seat has small wear not a tear in any
seat. The car is decent on gas and gets 18 mpg driving it to work and back. I
really enjoy this car and am getting rid of it because I have a little guy and
another on the way and the one car seat looked bad enough. I do not need any trades
only looking to sell outright. I may be willing to take a
little less but its a nice car and I think I am close on what its worth, still way under blue book. Car is also for sale locally if buy it now is used immediate deposit of $500 is required to hold the car and full payment must be reached within 1 week or just call me and come out and look at it and shoot me a close offer Brandon 989-714-6642. |

205k Suzuki models being investigated for airbag sensor issue
Wed, 19 Jun 2013The Detroit News is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened an investigation on the 2006-11 Suzuki Grand Vitara and 2007-11 Suzuki SX4 due to issues with the airbag and seatbelt for the front passenger seat. So far, NHTSA has received 128 complaints on these vehicles for airbag warning lights, airbag off lights and seatbelt lights, on a vehicle set that totals around 205,000 units, but there is no indication as to how many, if any, injuries have reported.
Via technical service bulletins, Suzuki has already acknowledged two airbag-related issues with front passenger seats on both vehicles, including a programming error for the passenger seat load indicator on 2009 models and an open-circuit problem for the sensor mat that determines if an adult or child is sitting in the front seat. Since this latter issue would not shut off or lessen the impact of the passenger airbag, Suzuki has already extended the warranty for the seat cushion bottom to 10 years or 120,000 miles. After ceasing new-car sales in the US and Canada, potential recall repairs (which still may or may not happen) would be handled by remaining dealers as laid out in the recent court-approved bankruptcy plan.
Suzuki offers sneak peek at Authentics concept for Shanghai
Sun, 31 Mar 2013Suzuki has prepared the C-segment Authentics concept for the Shanghai Motor Show, a preview of a sedan that would slot into the fattest chunk of the market among China's car buyers. Suzuki hasn't given away much, saying only that it is "Sporty x Elegant" and that it's long and low and has a "rich and fine curved surface."
PaulTan.org says this is the trunked version of the SX4 crossover, and if that's the case then it would represent a new approach to the SX4 in the region, offering markedly different styling instead of being, literally, an SX4 with a trunk. We'll know more when the Shanghai show opens in a couple of weeks, for now there's a press release with a tad more info on Suzuki's plans just below.
Toyota, Honda, Nissan and more collaborating to increase fuel efficiency
Sun, 25 May 2014Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Suzuki and Daihatsu have announced an alliance that will see a push to improve fuel economy from both gas-powered and diesel-powered engines by as much as 30 percent before the end of the decade.
The newly assembled Research Association of Automotive Internal Combustion Engines put the roughly $20-million project together, with the Japanese government committing to half the cost while the eight manufacturers will chip in the rest.
According to Automotive News, the automakers will team up and share basic research on internal-combustion engines in a bid to cut costs. Eventually, the results of the research will find its way into a production vehicle, although it's unclear just when we'll see the fruits of this partnership on the road.
