Year:2011 Mileage:65850
Location:

Selling my 2011 Subaru WRX Premium 4-door sedan, just under 66,000 miles (65,850 and counting as it is my daily driver). It was my daily driver commuting between Lincoln and Omaha for about a year, so has mostly interstate miles on it. Drives great, and is quite a fun car. Never raced, everything is stock. Black exterior, black interior.

Features:

Stock AM/FM Radio and speakers, single CD Player, Aux audio jack in center console, Bluetooth
Power windows and door locks
Cloth seats, front seats are heated, rear seats have fold-down arm rest and both seats fold down for more cargo room
Power Moonroof
Trunk lip spoiler
Windshield wiper heater on windshield
It does have a ProSport boost gauge that works, but I never got around to installing it correctly and trimming the wiring, etc.

Has some normal wear and tear, some minor damage to the front plastic bumper from when I ran over a poor small creature on the interstate one night. The bumper has a small crack, and the tow hook cover piece was replaced. Has some minor scrape damage to the side of the steering wheel leather. Windshield was recently replaced due to a crack from a large rock hitting it on the interstate. Otherwise no other repairs have been needed.

Tires currently on the car are Bridgestone Blizzak winter tires used for 2 winters now, changed in the early spring. I'm also including my set of almost new all-seasons bought last spring, Cooper Zeon RS3-A (unmounted). Stock rims.

I am the second owner, I bought the car from a dealership in southern Oklahoma who got it as a trade-in from the first owner.

Please email me with any requests for more pictures or questions, I'll try to get back to you quickly.
A deposit of $1,000 is required within 48 hours of list closing, full payment within 7 days.  I accept PayPal, or Cashiers check or money order in person.

2015 Subaru Outback priced at $24,895*

Thu, 05 Jun 2014

Just a few weeks after announcing the pricing for the 2015 Legacy sedan, Subaru is getting ready to roll out the all-new 2015 Outback with a base price $24,895, plus an $850 destination charge. Like its platform-mate, the styling could be described as an evolution of the previous generation, but the company claims big changes underneath to improve comfort. It's scheduled to starting hitting dealers this summer.
The Outback continues to share most of its mechanical bits with the Legacy, including its engines. The 2.5-liter boxer-four-cylinder gets a touch more potent with 175 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque, and better fuel economy at 25 miles per gallon city, 33 highway and 28 combined. The 3.6-liter flat-six-engine has 256 hp and 247 lb-ft and also sees a marginal economy improvement at 20/27/22. All models now come standard with a CVT, and Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive gets some improvements with standard Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist, Active Torque Vectoring and X-Mode, a system to increase traction when needed.
The base 2.5i trim goes for $25,745 (all prices after destination), up $425 from last year's CVT base model. It comes standard with a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a USB port and AUX input. The 2.5i Premium trim retails at $27,845, but the upgrade nets buyers dual climate zones, a 10-way power driver's seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel, all-weather package and a 7-inch infotainment system. The 2.5i Limited costs $30,845 and includes leather upholstery, 18-inch wheels, a 12-speaker stereo, heated rear seats, lane change assist, rear cross traffic alert and a power tailgate. The top The 3.6R Limited trim is $33,845 and in addition to the bigger engine features HID low-beam headlights and stainless steel dual exhaust tips.

Subaru supplies running low as automaker struggles to keep up with US demand

Sun, 02 Jun 2013

Consumers in the US are gobbling up Subaru models, a trend that may result in dealer shortages if the Japanese automaker isn't able to meet the surging demand. A quick look at the numbers reveals a 25.2 percent year-over-year jump in April US sales, and a 17-percent gain for the first quarter of 2013. The sales are so strong that the company's CEO, Yasuyuki Yoshinaga, told the Wall Street Journal that Subaru will exceed its 2016 goals (380,000 US units sold) by the end of the company's current business year. The US market has grown to be one of Subaru's best, with the company now logging about half its global sales on our shores.
While strong sales are good problem to have, the automaker has relatively limited production capacity, which may leave dealers with sparse inventory. Certain models, such as the popular Forester crossover (shown above), could hit 10,000 units this month with the plant at full capacity (far above its target of 8,000 units). On average, the US car industry has a 60-day supply of vehicles on hand, but inventory for the new Forester is at just 16 days. "If this situation persists, we'll face a supply shortage," Mr. Yoshinaga told the WSJ.
Despite being one of the smallest Japanese automakers by volume, this is all positive news for Subaru and parent Fuji Heavy Industries, which projects a second straight year of record operating profit thanks to strong US sales and a weaker yen.

Subaru teasing STI surprise for NYC show?

Mon, 14 Apr 2014

Subaru is no stranger to the Special Edition car, least of all where its vaunted WRX and STI are concerned. From Spec C to Prodrive to 22B, more than a handful of STI's around the world have been released as limited-run editions, often with stirring results. So, while we were more than a little bit surprised to see that big-wing crop up on the Subaru Twitter page today, we can't say as though its not true to the brand's history.
However, while most of the interesting WRX STI variants have been offered to Europe and Japan only, whatever is wearing that carbon-fiber-lipped wing is set to debut at the New York Auto Show this week.
We don't have a clue as to the precise nature of the car in front of that wing, save to say that it's likely based on the STI. We can guess, however that the extra vertical supports and the use of carbon fiber indicate a higher-performance version than currently exists. Anything from a racing application to some new goodies for the aftermarket are in the realm of possibility.
