I am selling an adult owned 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Limited. This one is number 269 of 800 ever built (only 400 were pearl white!). The limited's are the only STi's built with luxury options such as heated leather seats, sliding moon roof, auto dimming rear view, red hazard button, auxillary imput, and a quieter cabin. The limited's also came standard with a trunk spoiler, black brembo brakes, front lip spoiler, and less sti badging for that stealthy look. Currently has 65k miles, subject to change as this vehicle is my daily driver. The paint is in excellent condition, looks like it rolled off the showroom floor. There is not a scratch or ding anywhere on the car, it has been babied. Washed religiously, and garaged in the winter. Never raced or abused. Tires in great shape, over 90% tread left. 19" wheels with the white custom painted the same premium pearl white as the car. This has always been my dream car, and i built it with the intent of keeping it forever but the ONLY reason im selling this car is because I have purchased my first home and a truck would be much more useful than this car.
This car has been modified, all work and tuning done by Kinetic Motorworks of Hamstead NH which is the best subaru performance shop in the entire northeast. I have receipts and paperwork showing the work done. It runs and drives like a factory car, all on pump 93. It is tuned extremely conservatively as it is a daily driver, making 425hp at the wheels, motor making over 500hp (all while still getting between 22-25mpg). Much more could easily be made with a tune change. A complete mod part list include the following:

Hi-po Toyota GT86 to get KERS?
Fri, 09 Nov 2012We happen to like the Toyota GT86 - and, it of course goes without saying that the same applies to the Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S, as well - just the way it is. Yes, that includes the standard 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine and its 200 horsepower at 7,000 rpm.
That said, a little extra power never hurt anybody, right?
The most obvious way to add some punch to the GT86 would be with a turbocharger, and that has indeed long been rumored for an STI version of the BRZ. Will Toyota follow suit? According to Top Gear, the answer is no. Says GT86 chief engineer Tetsuya Tada, "I think 300bhp with a turbo and 200g/km of CO2 would be tasteless in this day and age. And a turbo would mean the loss of the GT86's uniqueness." Perhaps a bit harsh, but there you go.
Subaru previews Levorg concept ahead of Tokyo reveal
Wed, 30 Oct 2013When I was a kid I went with my family to a Subaru dealership. My brother, being clever as he is, pointed out that Subaru backwards spelled "you're a bus." The portly salesman was not amused, and we bought a Passat instead. Fast forward a couple of decades and we can't help but wonder if Subaru wasn't thinking the same thing when it named its new concept Levorg, which spells "grovel" backwards. The company itself says the name is a combination of the words "Legacy," "Revolution" and "Touring," but one way or another, that's what they're calling it, and here are the first preview images and details on the concept which Fuji Heavy will unveil at the Tokyo Motor Show this year.
Designed to combine the feel of a sports car with the practicality of a touring car, the Levorg looks set to preview the next step in a long line of performance-oriented Subaru wagons. It packs a 1.6-liter turbocharged boxer four and next-generation EyeSight technologies in what looks to be a svelte yet muscular form that could point the way forward for the next Legacy.
The Levorg, however, is not the only concept which Subaru will reveal in Tokyo this year. The Japanese automaker has also revealed plans to unveil the Cross Sport Design Concept (which could preview the replacement for the discontinued Tribeca), the Crossover 7 Concept (which looks like a taller version of the Legacy wagon with an apparent third row of seats), and an Evolution version of the Viziv concept presented in Geneva earlier this year. Scope them out in the gallery above and press release below.
Toyota GT86 turbo, convertible, sedan variants back on the table
Fri, 02 May 2014Okay Toyota, make up your mind. Figure it out. Quit playing games with our heart. Either build a bunch of variations of the excellent GT86 (also known as the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ) or don't. At this point, we're just tired of the back and forth. After no shortage of denials, an Australian website is claiming that Toyota is reconsidering convertible, four-door, turbocharged and all-wheel-drive hybrid variants of the GT86. Kindly pass all the salt.
It's not that we don't want to believe the Aussies; we do. But when the story lists the same "sources in Japan" as a lot of the other denials and confirmations about GT86/BRZ/FR-S variants, well, there's a certain sense of the "Boy That Cried Wolf," here. Ignoring all that, then, what does Motoring.com.au claim to know?
Sources claim the GT86 Convertible will arrive in October 2014, while the turbocharged and hybrid sedans are slated for 2016.
