93 score on Autocheck. Which I was told is extremely high. Clean Carfax.
This is a real sale here. I have set the reserve at wholesale blue book. (do your homework and you can figure it out wink wink) I will sell to the highest bidder above that amount. I have sold one other car on ebay, and I still email the guy occasionally. I am a National Sales Manager in my work life for a very well respected company, and I know how to complete a transaction. So all that being said, go ahead and bid. This is a real ebay auction. Hope you win!
About outbacks: Subaru's are considered to be one of the finest engineered cars made. The outback rides smooth on the highway, is very quiet at cruising speeds. They handle very nice and tight due to the low center of gravity of the Subaru engine. The outback is very versatile due to the very competent AWD and the additional cargo space. The second row of seats fold down completely flat. The outback is also 5 star safety rated (the highest) for all govt. tests. It has dual front airbags, and side impact airbags as well. The outback is designed to go 250,000 miles, and Susie is ready for her next owner to go the distance.
I wouldn't be surprised if someone from The Northeast or even The Midwest bought Susie. I would think it would make sense. This car has never seen Snow or Salt, and has no rust, near mint paint and body and is as close to new as you are going to find. I will be available to help in any way I can. If you want to arrange shipping no problem. There are numerous companies that will ship cars at a reasonable expense. Much cheaper than buying a Subaru Outback in those markets - Guaranteed.

Factory Five's Subaru WRX-based 818 kit now on sale [w/video]
Fri, 21 Mar 2014The Subaru WRX has always needed a dash more style, and the do-it-yourself carmakers at Factory Five are looking to accomplish a lot more than that with their new mid-engine, rear-wheel drive 818. The sports car started with a contest in 2011 to create the shape for the company's next vehicle, while sticking within certain limits. A designer named Nouphone Bansasi had his entry chosen, and first cars were completed last year.
The 818 is named after its target weight of 818 kilograms (1,803 pounds), and it's offered in two forms. The S starts at $9,990 and is meant for street use, with two seats and a basic interior. The R model for $10,990 is more track-focused and features a tiny windshield and full roll cage. The company claims that complete cars can be built for around $15,000, after factoring in the donor Subaru. Performance is very brisk, with acceleration to 60 miles per hour in under four seconds, according to Motor Authority.
The kits are meant to be something that even a relative novice could put together. All the builder needs to provide is a 2002-2007 Impreza or WRX. The car donates its turbocharged boxer four-cylinder engine, transmission, axles, brakes, steering and other major components. Factory Five supplies the spaceframe, body, suspension, lights, windshield and some interior trim. It doesn't even need paint, thanks to its gel-coated fiberglass body panels. The company also offers a laundry list of options, including carbon fiber aero components, upgraded suspension parts, improved brakes and more. Kits can be ordered in either left- or right-hand drive.
Subaru WRX STI prototype spied in motion
Thu, 18 Apr 2013Earlier this week, we got all hot and bothered over a set of spy photos showing the next-generation Subaru WRX STI testing at the Nürburgring. And while pretty still shots of a camouflaged car are always nice to look at, stirring up lots of speculation, having video is even better. Good thing, then, that our trusty spies were on hand to get some rolling footage of that STI as it lapped the infamous German track.
Now, as a good majority of the comments on our previous post will point out, it looks like Subaru has dumbed down the design of that decidedly hot WRX Concept from New York for the road-going car. Of course, we need to wait until all that swirly paper is pulled off the body, but from what we can see here, it looks like this new 'Rex will be more akin to the current Impreza than we were originally led to believe.
So while we wait and hope that what's under the camouflage will be something sexy, have a look at the video below to watch the WRX STI prototype get worked out on the 'Ring.
2015 Subaru WRX looks to set a new benchmark in LA
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Subaru has just taken the wraps off of the new, 2015 WRX at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. The totally redesigned sedan - the five-door option won't be offered - is more powerful, more fuel efficient (with the right transmission), better looking and more intelligently designed than the car it's replacing.
A new 2.0-liter, direct-injected, turbocharged flat-four sits thumping away under the hood, its top-mount intercooler getting force-fed air by a rather prominent hood scoop. Power output sits at 268 ponies and 258 pound-feet of torque, accessible between 2,000 and 5,000 rpm. While the new car only has a three-horsepower advantage on the current Impreza WRX, it delivers 14 more pound-feet of torque and delivers peak output across a much wider swath of the rev range (the old car netted 244 lb-ft at 4,400 rpm). All this extra grunt comes at a negligible weight penalty - a 2015 WRX with the six-speed manual is just 59 pounds heavier than a 2014 model.
As we said, a six-speed manual is will be available, and as a bonus, it packs one additional cog over the current, 2014 WRX's five-speed DIY transmission. So equipped, the WRX will scamper to 60 in just 5.4 seconds. As for the previously-confirmed continuously variable transmission, it will come with both six- and eight-speed manual shift modes, but will take half a second longer to get to the magical 60-mile-per-hour mark.
