hi and thnx. please read all this regarding 2004 Outback ~!~ I have bought and sold over 100 cars on eBay, and I am happy to continue. most of these cars for sale are new car dealer trades and or on consignment. as such, I am trying to avoid and keep down the number of re-lists, or not completed sales by high bidders. please do not bid or buy if you are short on cash, have many un-asked question or can't make arrangements with me regarding prompt payment and pick up. I can help with shipping, transport, motor vehicle paperwork, storage... all at little to no extra cost. happy to help, but please let me know ahead of time if you have an unusual situation ~!~ at time of pick up, you can expect car, keys, title, bill of sale, emission report, key(s), CT DMV Q-1 and booklets as available. on occasion, especially last minute or weekend schedules, the title may have to follow within the next business day or two, just to allow payments to clear. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have had the pleasure of driving this Subaru Outback for the last few days, just locally, but enough - and through the snow storm- to say with all confidence... this little wagon runs great ~!~ AWD, 4 cylinder, 5 speed, 118k miles... runs and drives as good as it looks. great motor that is smooth, quiet and strong. fine tranny and clutch, excellent 4x4 drive in the snow, good gas mileage, quiet operation, good brakes. horn, wipers, lights, stereo, cd, heat, seating, full power... all A-OK. around town or at 70mph on the highway, a pleasure to drive and be seen in. everything works well !! this is overall a dent, ding and damage free car. non-smoker's, factory correct alloy wheels, roof rack, AWD, cargo cover, cargo floor mat, newer belts, clean fluids, great wipers, heated seats, power seat, like new-er front brakes and rotors; clean, safe, comfortable and reliable. but, to be picky... tires all show wear, normal and even... but the two front are only fair. missing floor mats (?) front and rear, battery is fine, even at 0 degrees, but looks like it is 3 years old. driver's door requires a little bit of a gentle tug to close (maybe off by 1/8 inch or worn hinge?), but closes solid and airtight, almost needs no mention. there is a bumper / paint scuff right front corner around the fog light. please see all photos carefully, I took every good and bad shot I could. = not a new car, not perfect, no showroom.... but overall great shape and worth a buying. eBay sale price here ~!~ pay only what you want ~~. bid and buy, drive home. car is as shown and at my home; why not drive by, say hi and drive it to your house? clean title and all documents !! j. bettes 800 Clinton ave bridgeport, CT 06604 203.258.3356 cell anytime

Subaru revisits 1998 Impreza 22B STI
Thu, 05 Dec 2013It was 1998 when Subaru made some crucial changes to its World Rally Championship Impreza, such as increasing the displacement of the turbocharged flat-four-cylinder engine from 2.0 to 2.2 liters and fitting wide fender flares. Subaru won the WRC manufacturer championship with the car that year, and it also was the year of the automaker's 40th anniversary. To celebrate the milestone, the company came out with this limited-edition, road-going Impreza, the hallowed 22B STI, which looked nearly identical to the rally car.
Only 424 22Bs were built, and most of them stayed in Japan. But Dominick Infante, national manager of product communications at Subaru of America, was able to secure a drive in one of the only two 22Bs in the US. He details the car's history and some of the design and engineering cues that made the Impreza STI so popular both in motorsport and on the street, but we were caught up listening to the exhaust and admiring the timeless blue-and-gold paint. Subaru previews Levorg concept ahead of Tokyo reveal
Wed, 30 Oct 2013When I was a kid I went with my family to a Subaru dealership. My brother, being clever as he is, pointed out that Subaru backwards spelled "you're a bus." The portly salesman was not amused, and we bought a Passat instead. Fast forward a couple of decades and we can't help but wonder if Subaru wasn't thinking the same thing when it named its new concept Levorg, which spells "grovel" backwards. The company itself says the name is a combination of the words "Legacy," "Revolution" and "Touring," but one way or another, that's what they're calling it, and here are the first preview images and details on the concept which Fuji Heavy will unveil at the Tokyo Motor Show this year.
Designed to combine the feel of a sports car with the practicality of a touring car, the Levorg looks set to preview the next step in a long line of performance-oriented Subaru wagons. It packs a 1.6-liter turbocharged boxer four and next-generation EyeSight technologies in what looks to be a svelte yet muscular form that could point the way forward for the next Legacy.
The Levorg, however, is not the only concept which Subaru will reveal in Tokyo this year. The Japanese automaker has also revealed plans to unveil the Cross Sport Design Concept (which could preview the replacement for the discontinued Tribeca), the Crossover 7 Concept (which looks like a taller version of the Legacy wagon with an apparent third row of seats), and an Evolution version of the Viziv concept presented in Geneva earlier this year. 2014 Subaru WRX and STI pricing announced
Wed, 07 Aug 2013As the sun prepares to set on the third-generation Subaru WRX, Subaru has released the pricing for the 2014 WRX and WRX STI. With redesigned versions of both cars due out next year, prices for the current car have risen by just $200 across the entire 2014 lineup resulting in new starting MSRPs of $25,995 for the WRX and $34,495 for the more powerful WRX STI (*not including destination).
The destination charge has also crept up for the 2014 WRX and WRX STI models climbing slightly from $770 to $795. A final pricing adjustment for this bodystyle's send-off year is that the optional navigation system went from $1,000 in 2013 up to $1,100 for 2014.
