hi and thnx ~!~ this is a super AWD Subaru wagon. looks great and drives even better. great service history and good carfax. clean and comfy; nice interior way above average. bright paint, straight body, looks good from any angle. I like subaru-s, but this car is especially appealing. around town, blasting to work, school, errands, church, home depot... go where you want and when you want. great ride, engine and tranny. drive with confidence. good horn, wipers, lights, brakes, tires, exhaust, engine, a/c, full power, alloys, abs, air bags, stereo, battery, belts, oil, filters and fluids. turn the key, gas and go... I have bought and sold over 100 cars on eBay, and I am happy to continue. most of these cars for sale are new car dealer trades and or on consignment. as such, I am trying to avoid and keep down the number of re-lists, or not completed sales by high bidders. please do not bid or buy if you are short on cash, have many un-asked questions or can't make arrangements with me regarding prompt payment and pick up. 2015 Subaru WRX STI
Mon, 17 Feb 2014In December, I put the 2015 Subaru WRX through its paces along some incredibly challenging roads in northern California, and to say I walked away impressed wouldn't really do my feelings justice. Say what you will about the way it looks, the new 'Rex is an awesome car, full stop. When it comes to all-weather sports sedans that won't break the bank, it's very tough to beat the WRX.
But then there's its big brother - the STI. The winged wonder. The rally superstar. The car that, to many - and to me - represents all that is right in the world of dirt-and-gravel thrills. Sharp as the WRX has always been, the hardcore STI model has always been a little bit sharper. But in recent years, that hasn't always been a good thing. What I've liked most about the WRX is the fact that it's not an always-on attack missile - it can be forgiving, easy to drive, and if I'm honest, reasonably comfortable. Because of that, in the WRX/STI debate, I've preferred the former for daily driving activities. I've always had a thing for That Wing, but in the outgoing car, the STI was never really far and away a more rewarding car to drive, and it offered exactly zero upgrades in terms of comfort or refinement.
The 2015 WRX is easily the finest example of Subaru's hot hatch sedan to date. But what happens when you try to turn the dial past 11? I headed back to NorCal, including a stop at the historic Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, to find out.
Subaru gunning for 500,000 US sales by 2015
Fri, 20 Sep 2013For the last four years in a row, Subaru has experienced incredible sales growth including record sales of 336,441 units in 2012. This trend is all but guaranteed to continue this year with 281,652 on the books so far, but Automotive News is reporting the automaker has no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
The report says that Subaru is gunning for around 500,000 sales in the US by 2015, which doesn't seem like too far of a stretch considering 2013 sales totals are expected to top 400,000 units. Through August, Subaru's sales are up 29.3 percent compared to 2012, thanks to popular models like the Forester, Outback and, surprisingly, the WRX.
A new WRX is headed for an LA Auto Show reveal while an all-new Legacy is due out next year, and AN adds that Subaru is planning to significantly increase its media spending next year and start production of the Impreza sedan in the US in 2016.
2015 Subaru Legacy, Outback crash their way to IIHS Top Safety Pick+ ratings [w/video]
Wed, 20 Aug 2014The Subaru Legacy and Outback are the latest vehicles to be awarded the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's most prestigious safety title, Top Safety Pick+.
As we've explained many times before, this only applies vehicles that can score an "Acceptable" or "Good" rating on the five IIHS crash tests and earn at least a "Basic" rating for crash prevention systems.
In the Legacy's case, it totally aced IIHS's testing, earning "Good" scores on the small overlap, front moderate overlap, side impact, roof crush and rear impact tests, while also bringing home the top "Superior" rating for its optional EyeSight system.
