Subaru Legacy Limited LTD 2.5
AWD This is a clean car.
It runs smooth and the engine sounds strong. This is a high miles
car for the lot. It is a 2011 and still has many more miles to go on this
Subaru! Here is what I could
note wrong with the car: ·
It has a set of matching NEXAN tires. They have
more than 50% tread remaining but the front end is or was out of line causing
the front tires to wear on the inside. They should be rotated and the front end
aligned. ·
The
driver’s seat has a tear on the leather. It looks like someone sat on the seat
with a sharp object in his or her back pocket. It is in the photo. ·
The passenger side door has some small marks on
it. It does not appear as though it was hit by another car, but it looks like
something did scrape the side. It is not very noticeable, but I took photos of
the marks. The
car shifts perfectly and the interior as well as the exterior is very clean.
The dark blue is not forgiving at all for any exterior marks, so if there was
any damage it would show up easily. Nothing is visible. The sides are straight
as can be. It has a clean Carfax and has never had any accidents or damage. It has
factory floor mats all around and it comes with the original Owners Manuals and
two sets of keys with both of the remotes. This is a great car
that has a very low reserve. Nothing to worry about with this car and there are
no surprises. The car was washed and vacuumed out and is ready to go. None of these cars
are inspected. We are not offering any state inspections with these cars. We
are not offering warranties with these cars. These are being offered at low
reserves for quick sales. Please call or text
me with your questions: Jason Merritt 240-580-0859 If I do not answer
leave a message and I will return your call as soon as possible. We do accept trades
on these vehicles. We prefer cash and carry but we can assist with financing as
well as trades. We have locations in
both Maryland and West Virginia. The paperwork will be conducted from one of
those locations and delivery of the vehicles can be done also. You are
responsible for any delivery or transport fees and costs that go along with
transports. We do not charge any
fees for this auction. Your winning bid is what you pay us, nothing more. You will be
responsible for all taxes and fees in your state. |

Subaru WRX S4 gets big power bump in Japan
Mon, 25 Aug 2014A month after originally teasing it, Subaru is finally unveiling its WRX S4 model for Japan. It's a bit more than just a plush take on the sport sedan, because Subaru is fitting a more powerful version of the 2.0-liter, turbocharged boxer four-cylinder engine than we get on these shores.
The company says that S4 stands for "'Sports performance', 'Safety performance', 'Smart driving' and 'Sophisticated feel," and it certainly looks like this Rex ticks all of those boxes. The most surprising feature is the Japanese model's 2.0-liter turbo engine boasting 296 horsepower (221 kilowatts) and 295 pound-feet (400 Newton-meters) of torque in this application. That's quite a healthy upgrade over the 268 hp and 258 lb-ft that Americans get in the standard WRX, and it's even nipping at the heels of the 305 hp and 290 lb-ft from the STI with a 2.5-liter mill that we get over here.
While extra power is always welcome, enthusiasts might not be so thrilled that Subaru's Sport Lineartronic Continuously Variable Transmission is the sedan's only available gearbox. However, it offers a simulated eight-speed shifting mode when drivers notch the car into Sport# driving mode. Of course, the S4 also packs Subie's trademark all-wheel drive with Vehicle Dynamics Control and Active Torque Vectoring as standard.
2015 Subaru WRX: Introduction
Tue, 10 Jun 2014"As far as street-legal rally cars go, there's still nothing better than a WRX." I wrote that line following my first drive of the 2015 Subaru WRX late last year - one of the better motoring experiences I had in 2013. Sure, a particularly involving drive route helped, but I don't want to sell the new Subaru short: it's a seriously good car - easily one of the sharpest, best-driving little turbos available today.
When I drove the even hotter 2015 WRX STI in January, it was a similar love-fest. The STI is infused with all of the WRX's greatness, but it's sharper, meaner, and on good roads (and race tracks), the winged wonder is really outstanding. But because of its higher price tag, less forgiving suspension tuning, and only marginal performance increases, I'm convinced that the STI isn't the best WRX for the money. And much as I love it, I just don't think I'd ever buy the STI over its more sedate sister (though I totally understand why others might).
So when it came time to add a new long-term car to the Autoblog fleet, many votes were cast in favor of the WRX. There was a lot of debate about whether or not to get the standard version, or the mightier STI. But at the end of the day, my argument that the basic WRX is the better daily driver - nee, one of the best all-around, all-weather performers money can buy - carried the day.
Subaru readying special-edition BRZ
Fri, 14 Feb 2014Another week coming to a close brings another rumor of a potential hotted-up version of the Subaru everyone wants to turbocharge, the BRZ.
A fresh rumor out of the Car and Driver offices makes the claim that a new, special-edition BRZ model will be offered up within the next few months. Word is that the new model will not get similar upgrades to the recent BRZ tS (seen above) for the Japanese market, meaning we're likely in for a cosmetic update instead of a functional one.
The looks of the tS could still be in the cards, however, meaning swapped-out lip spoiler, wheels and even STI badging might be on the way.
