1994 Subaru Legacy Turbo Station Wagon 1st Gen 2.2 Ej22t Engine Awd Sport Rare on 2040-cars
work as the car is
Lompoc, California, United States
1994 Subaru Turbo Wagon. Super Rare. Not many made and not many exist. This one has NO rust, no major accidents and was never modified. Only hundreds of wagons were made and sold to the U.S. In addition to the turbo was vented front and rear rotors, wider tires, thicker sway bars and stronger tranny. I used to own a Subaru repair shop in southern Cal and had affiliation with STI people as the guy I got the shop from was a former rally driver for Subaru. He had one of these in white built for the sema show and it was hot! So I picked this one up recently, did some work to it and now unfortunately I have to sell it. I do not know if engine was ever replaced (car reads 225,142) but it runs strong and transmission goes through all gears. No axel noise, Brakes are still good, Tires have good tread but front and rears do not match, steering is nice. Paint looks original. Here are two lists, one of work done and one of work/parts needed.
Work done: Timing belt, t. belt tensioner pulley, t. belt idler pulley, water pump and oil pump gaskets as well as crank pulley seal, cam seals front and rear, exhaust gaskets, a/c belt idler pulley bearing, coolant, tranny fluid- filter and pan gasket, p/s pump reseal and new japan bearing, air filter, plugs, wires, heater core.
Work/Parts needed: paint and body, airbag light on, a few coolant hoses weren't replaced but work for now, sun roof has crack but does not leak, driver side sun visor, struts are bad, hood scoop/grille flew off (part is available), Tires are good but should be replaced as fronts are different from rear. antenna mast, one rear mud guard is broke. Then there are smaller things as the car is 20 years old.
Great car that needs a little more tlc but it is a fun one to own and fix up. Super rare and the value is sure to climb. Any questions please ask.

Wing? Check. WR Blue? Yep. Gold wheels? Aw, yeah. Ladies and gentlemen, meet the 2015 Subaru WRX STI, which has leaked out ahead of its Detroit Auto Show debut, courtesy of Mexican website Terra Autos.
Wed, 04 Jun 2014 11:30:00 EST
We don't have any firm details to go on, but as we reported earlier, the STI is expected to use a turbocharged, 2.5-liter boxer four producing something like 300 to 305 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque. (Note: The standard WRX uses a new, Forester-derived 2.0-liter engine.) Expect the usual host of STI fitments, including a more performance-oriented suspension tune and upgraded brakes, but don't expect a five-door variant - like the WRX, the STI will be a sedan-only affair.
Check out the leaked shots of the new STI in the gallery above, and stay tuned for all of the official details next week.
Subaru has done it again, setting a new four-wheel lap record around the 37.75-mile TT Mountain Course at the Isle of Man. Mark Higgins in a 2015 WRX STI rocketed through the country roads at an average speed of 116.40 miles per hour to circle the track in 19 minutes, 26 seconds, thereby beating his previous record of 19 minutes 56.7 seconds from 2011 in an STI.

According to Subaru, speeds during the lap ranged from as little as 30 mph to over 160 mph. The STI was mostly stock with the only major mechanical change being different springs and dampers to handle the course's famous bumps at such sustained high speeds. For safety, it also had a rollcage, racing harness, and fire suppression system.
"It was quite a lap we did today and I am really happy to have another record in the bank. The chassis of the new car is so much better it really allowed me to pick up time in each sector in the more technical parts of the course," said Higgins about the run in the Subaru.
For the last four years in a row, Subaru has experienced incredible sales growth including record sales of 336,441 units in 2012. This trend is all but guaranteed to continue this year with 281,652 on the books so far, but Automotive News is reporting the automaker has no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
The report says that Subaru is gunning for around 500,000 sales in the US by 2015, which doesn't seem like too far of a stretch considering 2013 sales totals are expected to top 400,000 units. Through August, Subaru's sales are up 29.3 percent compared to 2012, thanks to popular models like the Forester, Outback and, surprisingly, the WRX.
A new WRX is headed for an LA Auto Show reveal while an all-new Legacy is due out next year, and AN adds that Subaru is planning to significantly increase its media spending next year and start production of the Impreza sedan in the US in 2016.
