Listed is a 2010 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport which has recently passed California smog.  The car was a trade in at a local dealership and we do not know much about the vehicle history other than what is listed on the CARFAX report.  I will do my best to describe the vehicle--

According to CARFAX, a salvage title was issued 03/05/2012 when it had 11,783 miles. It's been driven for 55,930 miles since it was salvaged.

Exterior: The overall condition of the vehicle is good. The front bumper has a small hole in the cover next to the drivers side fog light and the paint is faded. The fitment of the front bumper to the front fenders is a little misaligned. There is a small ding on the lip of the hood and the front fenders have slight dents in them. The clear coat is peeling on the front headlights. The passenger side front door has a small dent in it.

Interior: The interior is in very good shape. The steering wheel has some wear, but the seats, carpet, door panels and headliner are all in good shape.
All gauges work as they should. A/C blows cold. All windows roll up and down. Tires are good.

Mechanically the car is fine. I drove the car about 60 miles and it drives great.  The transmission shifted fine in all gears and the car does not pull to either side.
If you have anymore questions, please feel free to email or call. The car can be viewed and inspected at our location.

We can help arrange shipping. Out-of-state buyers must pay $65 document preparation charges. California residents must pay California state sales tax, license and registration fees. The tags are current through march 2015.

Subaru BRZ to get second generation, says exec

Tue, 08 Jul 2014

Hallelujah friends, hallelujah. One of the highest voices in Subaru's parent company, Fuji Heavy Industries, has just said that the boxer-obsessed automaker will release a second generation of the lovable BRZ.
Yasuyuki Yoshinaga, president of FHI, has summarily shot down assertions made by Tetsuya Tada, the chief engineer for the Toyota GT86. In a recent interview with an Australian publication, Tada claimed that Subaru had not decided whether it would be involved in the followup effort to the rear-drive coupe, and even speculated that the Toyota could team with BMW for a second-gen car, instead.
"If I were to be told that, I'd pass out. It's not going to be just one generation," Yoshinaga-san told Automotive News.

2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek gets more infotainment, safety tech

Fri, 24 Oct 2014

A couple of months ago, Subaru rolled out a series of minor enhancements for the Impreza, and now it's performed a similar upgrade to its more rugged counterpart, the XV Crosstrek. For 2015, the XV benefits from available EyeSight driver assistance suite, steering-responsive fog lights and a new 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system (with a seven-inch version on higher-spec models).
Otherwise the 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek and XV Crosstrek Hybrid are essentially the same as the 2014 models they replace. The requisite 2.0-liter boxer four drives to all four wheels as always, with or without hybrid assist, through either a five-speed manual or continuously variable transmission. Look for the updated model to reach dealers this December, and in the meantime, feel free to peruse the press release below.

Edmunds ranks the best used cars for 2013

Sun, 15 Sep 2013

When people ask us what car we would recommend for them, it's usually not easy to answer. To make a useful recommendation we must consider which of the numerous vehicle segments fits their needs best, and then choose one of the many vehicles offered in each segment. For some people, new cars don't meet their expectations of value, because they lose so much of it the moment they are purchased and driven off the dealer lot. For them, there's always the used-car market, where great deals can be found, but cars' histories of reliability and maintenance records - and perhaps that Certified Pre-Owned warranty - become ever-important factors playing into purchase choice.
To help out, Edmunds has done us the favor of assembling a list of the best used vehicles money can buy, covering model years 2006-2011, according to what it considers the most important criteria when shopping for used autos: reliability, safety, value and availability. That means unreliable, unsafe, super-expensive or limited-edition models don't appear on the list, but instead cars from each segment that are more likely to satisfy the general population.
There are some real goodies on the list, including but not limited to vehicles such as the capable Honda Fit, the cultish Honda Accord coupe (which can be had with a 240-horsepower V6 and a six-speed manual transmission some years), and the powerful Chevrolet Corvette. While Edmunds' choice of the Volvo C70 for best used convertible baffled us at first (not that it's a bad car), it redeemed itself by stating that the Mazda MX-5 still is an unofficial top choice if you don't require more than two seats.
