This vehicle will challenge ANYTHING that our winters can throw at you!

Extremely sure footed with one of the best ALL WHEEL DRIVES in the business, the heater system seems to be designed for the ARCTIC CIRCLE. Aside from the usual Subaru reliability, this RUST FREE example of the Forester line has been well looked after throughout it's life. Most of the maintenance was performed by Subaru dealers and recently a local IMPORT SPECIALTY SHOP performed the work needed to get the car CERTIFIED and EMISSION TESTED. All the parts used in this process are either OEM or of OEM Quality; the invoices to proof this claim are of course available for viewing by the buyer.

To the best of my knowledge this car has NEVER BEEN SMOKED in. The cloth interior can be described as UNMARKED, there are no rips or tears of any sort. The cargo area is covered by the FACTORY CARGO COVER - RETRACTABLE - and the is a Subaru Trunk Liner installed as well. The original FLOOR MATS are with the car and are in great shape.

I will be happy to answer any question by e-mail, in a timely manner, as long as it does not include a request to circumvent e-Bay rules and selling outside the auction.

I have only recently purchased this vehicle from a SUBARU DEALER; this is the 5th car that I bought there and I have never regretted dealing with them. I am selling the car because I will not be able to drive standard transmission in the near future, Diabetes has damaged my left leg to the point that using a clutch is not going to be an option anymore.

Good luck bidding !

2015 Subaru Legacy, Outback crash their way to IIHS Top Safety Pick+ ratings [w/video]

Wed, 20 Aug 2014

The Subaru Legacy and Outback are the latest vehicles to be awarded the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's most prestigious safety title, Top Safety Pick+.
As we've explained many times before, this only applies vehicles that can score an "Acceptable" or "Good" rating on the five IIHS crash tests and earn at least a "Basic" rating for crash prevention systems.
In the Legacy's case, it totally aced IIHS's testing, earning "Good" scores on the small overlap, front moderate overlap, side impact, roof crush and rear impact tests, while also bringing home the top "Superior" rating for its optional EyeSight system.

Subaru is America's third most off-roaded brand

Tue, 01 Jul 2014

When you think of iconic off-road brands, where does Subaru fall on your radar? Somewhere in the middle? Perhaps near the bottom? Don't worry, you're not alone. Until recently spending some time in Bend, OR, where we drove the all-new 2015 Subaru Outback, we never really pegged the Japanese automaker to be a highly lauded brand among off-road enthusiasts, despite many of the company's products actually being quite capable when the going gets rough.
But the data says we're wrong. According to a 2013 J.D. Power study, Subaru vehicles have some of the highest use off road compared to other brands - of course "off road" here just means anything not on a paved road, so even gravel trails and tame two-tracks count in these statistics. Nearly 29.5 percent of its cars are used on trails and dirt roads, with only the Ram and Jeep brands besting that statistic, at 30.2 and 31.0 percent, respectively. Said another way, Subaru sold 424,683 vehicles in the US in 2013, meaning that some 125,281 saw off-road use. Mainstream brands like GMC, Ford and Chevrolet all trail Subaru, and even Land Rover comes in at less than 20 percent.
Some 34.7 percent of Outbacks are taken off paved roads, according to J.D. Power data.
