Up for sale is this 2008 Scion tC, what an awesome car to drive. This vehicle has a silver exterior and a black cloth interior. It's exterior is a brilliant silver color and is in really nice condition, the interior of this car is in near pristine condition NO HOLES, CUTS, OR TEARS, also there are no funny odors within the car doesn't seem as if anyone smoked a cigarette or anything in here. It has an awesome PANORAMIC sunroof that opens up nice and wide, it also has a mini sun/pano roof in the back which is really cool. This car drives awesome it has a 2.4L 4-cylinder engine which gets 20 mpg in the city an 27 mpg on the hwy. It's engine starts on the 1st try and the transmission shifts as if it had just left the assembly line. Keyless entry, security, power door locks, power windows( the passenger side window does not work from the drivers side button only the passenger side), PIONEER am/fm/cd player and a nice sounding stereo, audio steering wheel controls, cruise control, alloy wheels(one is curbed really bad and it will need new tires eventually also the rubber pieces in the wheel wells are missing), and much more. With only 63k miles on it this car I am sure has plenty of life left in it. It's is very clean on the inside but the floor mats are missing. This vehicle does have a rebuilt title, there are no indications as to why according to it's carfax report. It's front bumper, hood & rear bumper were painted recently, it had been in a minor accident 9/25/12 but the airbags did not deploy the airbag light is on however. It's headlights are brand new and everything on this car works as it should and really nicely I might add. Ice cold A/C, fantastic sounding music, and drives like a dream.. This car could be nice for anyone really so please don't miss out this opportunity to own this fantastic vehicle. If you have any questions please call Fahim @ 727-271-8160 Thank you and happy bidding..

EVO "2012 Car of the Year: The Track Battles" is a sports car salmagundi
Sun, 25 Nov 2012EVO has come out with another gotta-watch-it video, throwing its 2012 Car of the Year contestants around the UK's 1.5-mile Blyton Park track. It's actually a 15-minute teaser for the full-length DVD detailing the magazine's Car of the Year selection, but the tease is worth every penny free second.
Tiff Needell and sports car racer Richard Meaden handle the wheel duties, the two driving five pairs of sports cars: Lotus Exige S vs. Porsche Boxster S, Morgan Three-Wheeler vs. Toyota GT86, BMW M135i vs. Porsche 911, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series vs. Alpina B3 GT3, the marquee event pits the McLaren MP4-12C vs. the Pagani Huayra. After a head-to-head lap with commentary during drifts, Meaden takes each car out to set a representative lap time.
You'll find the verdicts, lots of tire smoke, and lines like "Anything you can do sideways I can do sideways" in the video below.
J.D. Power study sees new car dependability problems increase for first time since 1998
Wed, 12 Feb 2014For the first time since 1998, J.D. Power and Associates says its data shows that the average number of problems per 100 cars has increased. The finding is the result of the firm's much-touted annual Vehicle Dependability Study, which charts incidents of problems in new vehicle purchases over three years from 41,000 respondents.
Looking at first-owner cars from the 2011 model year, the study found an average of 133 problems per 100 cars (PP100, for short), up 6 percent from 126 PP100 in last year's study, which covered 2010 model-year vehicles. Disturbingly, the bulk of the increase is being attributed to engine and transmission problems, with a 6 PP100 boost.
Interestingly, JDP notes that "the decline in quality is particularly acute for vehicles with four-cylinder engines, where problem levels increase by nearly 10 PP100." Its findings also noticed that large diesel engines also tended to be more problematic than most five- and six-cylinder engines.
Leaked Toyota FT-86 Open concept images preview droptop Scion FR-S [w/video]
Thu, 28 Feb 2013Here it is, folks - the highly anticipated Toyota FT-86 Open concept, a precursor to what could become a road-going Scion FR-S convertible. A full smattering of images and video have leaked onto the internet, and thanks to the folks at FT86Club.com, we can now see the new hotness that Toyota will be unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show next week.
These images confirm details that were first seen in spy shots captured a couple of weeks ago - namely, the larger wheel/tire package and the inclusion of the Toyobaru coupe's decidedly useless rear seats. These new photos, however, show a two-tone leather interior with goodies such as an iPod/iPhone mount on the dashboard. The concept car is also fitted with the coupe's six-speed automatic transmission (boo!) and FT86Club.com reports that the folding soft top is operated electronically.
We'll have the full details live from Geneva in just a few days. For now, click through our attached image gallery to see lots of pretty pictures of the topless wonder, and scroll down for a video to see the concept in motion.
