2008 Scion Tc Base Coupe 2-door 2.4l on 2040-cars

This Scion is not in perfect condition. I have had the Scion since the 2012. It runs and drives perfect. I know that it has been in an accident before I bought it. I bought the vehicle from a local dealership. I have had no problems in the past 2 years since I have owned the vehicle. It is good car for commuting since it get good gas millage. There are a few issues - the airbag light came on when I had the heated seats installed. Last year I bought new tires and had them installed at the local Walmart - now my flat tire sensor is constantly on. I am sure both of those are an easy fix but I have lowered the price because of these issues. The car is due for an oil change which I will do within the next week. I did hit the front bumper in the last storm we had here in KC - no the left corner is not flash with the fender and there is a scratch. I also broke the plastic in the middle but the bumper is not cracked. The car has lowering springs to give it a sportier look. The headlights are after market - I bought them last year. I still have the original headlights. The car has power mirrors, windows, door locks. Heated Seats and panoramic (sliding) roof. If I get close to the asking price I will even include the HID bulbs and ballast that I recently bought but have not installed yet. I can have them installed at no extra charge if the car sells close to my asking price. If you check the KBB you will find that my price is way below KBB. Buy a Toyota GT86 and your wife will hate you

Convincing a man or woman (or child, really) that they absolutely cannot live without the latest, greatest new bit of technology oftentimes takes a unique approach. In the "online film promoting the Toyota GT86" you'll see below, created by agency Happiness Brussels, men are reverse-psychologied into thinking a new sports coupe will make them more masculine by getting their loved ones to hate them. Or something like that. We think.
In any case, we suggest you watch the video below to see how much fun men can have with a GT86 - or Scion FR-S or Subaru BRZ, presumably - at the expense of their significant others. Fair warning: There's a potential Not Safe For Work moment in the ad: beware of a brief male butt shot about 44 seconds in.
Marketing. Gotta love it. Unless you're married to a man. Or something like that. We think. Whatever, just watch.
Scion xB Release Series 10.0 headed for New York debut
Fri, 11 Apr 2014Toyota promises that upgraded products for Scion are on the way, with the possibility of a redesigned xB coming soon. In the meantime, fans of the boxy hatchback have to make due with the new Release Series 10.0 special edition that is debuting at the 2014 New York Auto Show. The latest limited model puts an emphasis on technology with a wireless charging mat, backup camera, projected logos and a few interior changes.
All the Series 10.0 editions come in Electric Quartz, a pearlescent white color with green highlights, and their steel wheels are covered in Tungsten Gray caps. The exterior's jade color scheme flows inside with the accent stitching on the seats and door panels. This xB is equipped with three projectors - one in the rear bumper displays the company's logo on the ground, and two inside put "xB RS 10.0" on the driver's side and the car's build number on the passenger side. (That's kind of cool, honestly.) Smaller upgrades include piano black trim around the console, illuminated door sills and lit cup holders.
The Release 10.0 edition doesn't see any mechanical changes and uses the same 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 158 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque as all other xBs, mated solely to a four-speed automatic transmission. Scion plans to build 1,500 Series 10.0 models with pricing starting at $20,420, plus a $755 destination charge. Sales begin this summer. Scroll down for the full details in the release.
Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.
