We are proud to
offer this 1986 Rolls Royce Silver Spur with only 27XXX original miles. This
vehicle was just serviced. This Rolls Royce drives and handles very well. All electronics work. It has a very cold A/C. Paint is very good. The vehicle does not have any accident history not on Carfax, nor on Autocheck. It is a one owner vehicle. The passenger side front fender was painted for some unknown reason but does not show any signs of impact or accident. It is a 1986 car and all though it was kept very well its still a 1986 vehicle and has small imperfections on the paint such as chipped small spot or a small door ding that cant be seen until you look at it from an angle. No cracks on the paint. The top is immaculate. The interior is in fair shape and I only say this since the wood panels are chipped and cracked. The wood will need a new refinish if you want them perfect. The carpets are in very good shape. Seats show a little wear on the drivers seat but rear seats are in very good shape. The car is in good shape and does not need anything to be a good everyday driver or a very presentable car, but If you are looking to make this car perfect, this is the real car that's worth spending some money on and making it a showroom piece. It has the potential and it deserves the attention. I do not have the service history on the car but based on facts, large amount of money was spent on this cars mechanical and suspension. May be even equivalent to the cars value.I took the car on a long test drive over 100 miles and it drove perfectly. New tires. Rolls-Royce goes glam, celebrates Art Deco heritage in Paris
Thu, 27 Sep 2012Rolls-Royce has used the 2012 Paris Motor Show to pull the covers off its art deco-inspired Phantom saloon, Phantom Drophead Coupé and Ghost models. These three bespoke machines are said to pay homage to the 1925 Paris Exhibition or Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes. Not coincidentally, the phrase 'art deco' was coined at that very show.
These three models are finished in period-correct color schemes and feature details that include mother of pearl and silver inlays and ornamental glassware. According to Giles Taylor, Design Director Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, "Art Deco was defined by theatre, glamour and a sense of excitement. Working to create contemporary interpretations of these classic themes has been enormously rewarding for everyone in my bespoke design team." But of course.

Rolls-Royce Alpine Trial Centenary Collection celebrates century-old Austrian race
Tue, 23 Apr 2013Among the harvest of premieres at the Shanghai Motor Show was a special-edition Rolls-Royce Ghost to celebrate the 1913 Austrian Alpine Trials. Four Rolls-Royce Silver Ghosts entered the race a century ago, and in completing the 1,820-mile challenge flawlessly earned the sobriquet "The Best Car in the World." The new Ghosts commemorating the feat represent two firsts for the brand: Rolls-Royce has never created a bespoke homage to one of its own cars, and it has never released a car with a black grille.
Those two features, as well as blue paint and black wheels, are in tribute to James Radley's privateer entry in that 1913 race that drove alongside the three factory teams. Other special features include the coachline (pinstripe) that evokes the four cars from the 20th-century race, and inside, a color-matched headliner, a clock with the rally stages and times, and topographical inlays on the front fascia and rear picnic tables.
The 20-Ghost Club will be reenacting the event this year, the parade including Radley's 1913 car. It kicks off in Vienna, Austria on June 14. For the time being you can read the press release below and check out the high-res photos above.
Rolls-Royce to reach 4,000 units this year
Tue, 30 Sep 2014Rolls-Royce is, by nature, an exclusive auto marque, but it has been steadily increasing its sales to the point that it could be looking at 4,000 units by the end of this year, setting a new record for the German-owned British automaker.
You don't even need to go back a decade to find Rolls-Royce sales hovering around the 1,000-unit mark. But that was when Goodwood only offered the Phantom saloon. The subsequent addition of the Phantom DHC and Phantom Coupe helped expand its portfolio, enlarged even further by the addition of the Ghost in 2010, by which time total sales were reaching 3,000 units.
The Spirit of Ecstasy marque has been hovering around the 3,500 mark ever since, but with the Wraith now in the mix and its reach extending into growing markets around the world, Autocar reports that global sales could top 4,000 units this year. (Of course that pales in comparison to one-time sister brand Bentley, which topped 10,000 deliveries last year, but Rolls-Royce typically competes at a higher price bracket.)
