"A great car is never cheap and a cheap car is never great"
Every once in a while an opportunity presents itself to acquire the best of a given asset or vehicle.  I don't offer this concept lightly especially when speaking about a 8 year old car!  But when I purchased this Rolls and had it delivered a few weeks ago I was very impressed and surprised.  I bought it specifically to resell but certainly don't mind holding it till someone appreciates how rare a find it really is.  Even the factory window sticker was mounted in a gold leaf frame!  Here are the factory options printed on that sticker:

  • Arctic White
  • Oatmeal
  • Veneered instrument panel $1,100
  • Veneered Steering wheel spokes $600
  • Camera system (Front and Rear) $3,300
  • 21" Aluminum Wheel $3,000
  • Cross banded Elm Cluster Veneer $2,200
  • Slide / Tilt, no charge
  • Destination and handling $1,000
  • Gas Guzzler $3,000
  • Total Suggested MSRP $342,950 US Dollars
Delivered new by Braman Rolls Royce in Miami, Fl.

You can purchase these easily for $50k less with significantly more miles, odd colors and maybe some questionable history.  It all depends on the caliber of vehicle you want.  This Rolls is simply the best 2006 in the market.  Period.  I have searched on every site, and can't even find a 2010 with less miles in white.

Buy it Now includes no charge enclosed shipping using Reliable Carriers anywhere in the contiguous 48 states, and an inspection at one of two Rolls Royce dealers here in Central Florida.  Take action with confidence but be sure you are prepared to pay for the vehicle first.  We have the clear Florida title ready for you, no liens.  Carfax and Autocheck are clean of course.

Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II represents a host of subtle tweaks

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

It's not every day that an automaker admits in its own words that a new generation of one of its models is a "subtle redesign," but that's exactly how Rolls-Royce is describing the changes made to its Ghost Series II. Most of the bodywork has seen very light resculpting, including what the brand is calling a tapered "wake channel" that starts just behind the beloved Spirit of Ecstacy's wings evoking "the sight of a jet's vapour trail" and "hinting at the car's dynamism."
So much does Rolls-Royce want to emphasize the Ghost Series II's so-called dynamism that it uses the descriptor a total of eight times in the press release that you're welcome to read below. Looking past that all-too-current buzzword, what we see here is clearly a Rolls-Royce, clearly an ultra-luxury sedan and clearly desirable.
Rest assured, prospective buyers will see all the latest technology inside the new Ghost's interior, including a 10.25-inch high-definition screen and a Spirit of Ecstacy Rotary Controller so as not to "leave unsightly fingerprints at driver and passenger eye level." Of course, plenty of customization is available for the most discerning of buyers, and two new wood veneer options are available - Paldao and Walnut Burr Crossband.

BMW bringing 9 Series concept to Beijing

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

It appears that BMW is ready to take another step upmarket with a new concept flagship luxury sedan at the Beijing Motor Show at the end of April. The showcar is said to preview the company's rumored 9 Series, a sedan that would be positioned against top trims of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, like the rumored S600 Maybach.
According to Automotive News Europe, the concept sedan wears styling language adapted from the curvaceous BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe (pictured above) shown at the 2013 Villa d'Este Concours d'Elegance in May. It rides on BMW's new, modular platform - codenamed G11 - for the company's largest cars, an architecture also expected to be shared with the next 7 Series and future Rolls-Royce vehicles. It's rumored to bring the weight of the 7 closer to the 5 Series, which would be several hundred pounds lighter when comparing the base models of both current vehicles. We spotted the next-gen 7 Series testing over a year ago, and both it and the 9 Series are expected to go on sale in 2016.
Unfortunately, at the moment there is no official information about the concept. "We don't have any official news yet on anything in Beijing," Julian Arguelles, BMW USA spokesperson, tells Autoblog. However, it's heartening to think that BMW might be adapting the gorgeous shape of the Gran Lusso for production.

2015 Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II [w/video]

Fri, 10 Oct 2014

Rolls-Royce Director of Global Communications Richard Carter tells me that his storied employer is "a company that does not chase volume." In a perfect world, mused Carter, the carmaker would sell "one less" of its ultra-luxury vehicles than the fast-expanding world market demands.
And, thanks in no small part to the unprecedented success of the Series I Rolls-Royce Ghost that launched in 2010, the Brit brand seems well positioned to strike that perfect balance between exclusivity and record profits. In 2003 (the year in which the first BMW-backed Rolls rolled off the line in West Sussex), the company managed to sell around 500 cars. This year, with the first run of already-back-ordered Ghost Series II models still weeks away from delivery, the marque will top 4,000 units for the first time in its history.
Considering that each one of those "units" - a somewhat unsatisfying term for motor car this special - will gross Rolls-Royce $300,000 if we're being very conservative, you'll quickly see that creating a very desirable product for one of the best brands in the world negates the need to chase volume. The rich and free-spending are chasing this Ghost, instead.
