2013 RAM 2500 Crew Cab 4X4 w/ the Cummins 6.7 liter turbo diesel.  Basically a brand new truck with out the new sticker price and dealer fees!  7,XXX miles, Garage kept, Non smoker, no scratches/dents, no stains.  Inside and out still looks new.  Inside of the bed has a few scratches from putting things in it.  Professionally installed B&W turn over hidden gooseneck hitch, Mopar trailer brake controller, Mopar rubber floor mats.  I have only pulled a gooseneck a couple of times short distances.  I basically bought the truck to use for my business and then it was bought out so I don't need it any longer.  I love the power of the cummins and it gets good gas mileage!  Going back to a 1/2 ton or Jeep Unlimited 4-door so if you have something nice let me know.  If it doesn't sell for a decent price then I just plan on keeping it as I really like the truck.  Sticker Price was $46,920 plus all the dealer add-ons.  Options include:  Chrome appearance group, Popular Equipment group, SiriusXM radio, 6-speed automatic transmission, power heated tow mirrors w/ puddle and signal lights, a/c, cruise control, power locks w/ keyless entry, cloth seats w/ fold up console,  class V bumper hitch, etc.  Truck was bought Nov 2013 so you still have the balance of the 5 year 100,000 mile warranty.  Any questions please let me know.  If you send me your phone number I will call you back.  I don't want to list mine on the listing.  Feel free to come and look at it.  If you fly in to Kansas City I can pick you up at the airport.  Title in hand.  Does have a bank lien on it but I can get the letter in a day or two.  Color is Mineral Gray Metallic w/ black/diesel gray interior.

2013 Ram 1500 Black Express is midnight in the garden of good and evil

Wed, 10 Jul 2013

Building off of the solid base of its 1500 pickup, Ram has announced a dark horse in its stable, the Ram Black Express, which comes equipped with a bevy of features to distinguish it from the regular Express model. (Just don't call it a black sheep.)
The Black Express sets itself apart visually from other 1500s with black 20-inch aluminum wheels, black bumpers, a black grille and front fascia with fog lamps, black Ram's head badges front and rear but no side badges for a clean, shaved look. The premium bi-function halogen projector headlamps with LED running lights, which aren't even an option on the regular Express, come standard on the Black edition.
The 5.7-liter Hemi V8 is unchanged, making 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. Paired with the standard eight-speed automatic transmission, the truck can tow 6,500 pounds. It's on sale starting this month, and the base Black Express can be had for $26,955, just $1,105 more than the base Express 4X2 regular cab. Feel free to peruse the press release below and check out the image gallery below.

Chrysler thinking of taking on Ford SVT Raptor?

Sun, 24 Mar 2013

An argument could be made that Chrysler already offers a competitor to the much-loved Ford Raptor in the form of the Ram Runner pickup. The difference, though, is that Ford builds the Raptor right on the production line, whereas Ram requires the buyer to have modifications made at one of its dealerships after the initial purchase is made.
That distinction may soon be a thing of the past, according to a report from Wards Auto. "If we could see that the volume was significant enough that it makes sense to do it, we'll do it," says Pat Dougherty, vice president of Mopar parts, sales and field operations. "But if we don't, then we'll continue to do it the way we do it."
Additionally, Chrysler would reportedly like to put more emphasis on the fuel efficiency of its off-road-ready lineup, which is spearheaded by the Jeep Wrangler. Says Dougherty, "For a lot of the people who go off-roading (but) actually drive their vehicle as a daily driver, they want to make sure they're getting fuel efficiency while they're driving to work."

Ram considering Rumble Bee concept for production

Fri, 20 Sep 2013

Yellow truck enthusiasts, take note - Ram is considering production for its Rumble Bee Concept, a very, very extroverted pickup that debuted at the 2013 Woodward Dream Cruise. Drawing inspiration from the last Ram Rumble Bee, which in turn borrowed heavily from the Dodge Super Bee muscle cars of the 1960s, the Rumble Bee sports a few things that set it apart from the standard 1500 lineup.
The most obvious change is its retina-scorching, matte yellow paint. Teamed up with a two-inch suspension drop and monster 24-inch black wheels wrapped in low-profile tires, the Rumble Bee cuts an imposing figure. Matching that aggressive exterior is a 5.7-liter Hemi V8, complete with 395 horsepower and an exhaust system that can go from raucous and muscle-car-like to the full-on NASCAR at the push of a button.
According to Edmunds, after a positive reception at the Dream Cruise, the Auburn Hills automaker is now presenting the truck to dealers in a bid to gauge interest. "We try to listen to the dealers. They know their marketplace," Ram's Dave Sowers tells Edmunds, adding that Ram could produce the new truck.
